Tropical Darwin Hideaway

Under the ceilings of a classic Darwin troppo house is our beautiful studio. Our property has lots of personality as it has been here since the 1980s. Perfect for couples or solo adventurers, is our fully self-contained studio. We are always around doing jobs, or you may hear our toddler playing with the pets. We are currently doing a range of renovations so there’s always something happening between the dog and the toddler. The pool area can be used but the space hasn’t been landscaped yet. The space located just an 11-minute walk to Casuarina Shopping Centre, 1 minute from Charles Darwin University and a 5-minute drive to the local beaches, with a bus stop just up the road from the property, and only 7 minutes to the airport. We are a busy family with a toddler and a Husky dog, Reya, who shares the backyard space. She has her own areas, if you are an animal lover she is more than happy to say hello. She is very vocal and on work-days may howl for a bit when we leave in the mornings. Bedroom: A cozy queen-size bed Bedside table and lamp Bathroom: A private bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included). Fresh hand towels, shower towels, and face washers provided for two guests. Kitchen: A full-sized kitchen stocked with all the essentials for cooking, including hotplate, oven, pots, pans, plates, utensils, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, and a bar fridge. Dining/Study area: A dining area with a table and chairs Living Room: L-shaped lounge, set on a soft rug. Enjoy the entertainment options with a new TV Laundry Area (shared): Access to a washing machine, complete with washing liquid and fabric softener. Clothes airer, mop, bucket, and vacuum are available. Extra Features: A bookshelf filled with books, board games, and throw rugs to enhance your relaxation time (please enjoy these items on the premises). Fully Airconditioned throughout the property. Guest access Private entrance and lockbox, allowing you the freedom to come and go as you please without any disruption. You can also check in/out at any time as we have lockboxes. Parking: For your convenience, you can park your car securely inside the gated property, or if you prefer, off-street parking is also available directly outside the house. Both options provide safe and easy access to the studio.
