Our fully equipped house is located on a quiet, small-scale but very nice resort, where you can enjoy breathtaking ocean front views. There is nothing between you and the spectacular sea views reaching out to the horizon. Only minutes away from five of Curacao's most beautiful beaches and multiple restaurants. When not at the swimming pool, two gently sloping stairways cut into the coral wall give you direct access to the warm crystal-clear Caribbean water. The normal minimum stay is five nights, but enquirers for fewer nights may be accepted. The space Turquoise Oasis, at Marazul Dive Resort, is a tastefully decorated tropical two floor unit with private front and back entrances, located on the Caribbean Ocean. Relax on the main floor deck or upper floor balcony as trade winds rustle the palm leaves and enjoy the relaxing Marazul garden with 180-degree ocean view. As you walk into your vacation home you are greeted with an open main floor with balcony ceilings, consisting of a comfortable sitting area, kitchen, dining area, and two full bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for your Curacao culinary adventures; a five-burner gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, and all the necessary dishes and cutlery. Louvered screened windows and screened doors allow the cooling ocean breeze throughout both floors. The bungalow is equipped with a wireless router with the speed and quality necessary to keep in touch with your office through video apps. The TV is connected to cable and is ready to connect to your online streaming services. Settle into your three, air-conditioned bedrooms with queen size beds, three full bathrooms, and large closets. Second floor bedroom has its own balcony and safe. Sliding glass doors with screens open to the shaded patio and balcony with their calming views and comfortable chairs/tables and day bed. All windows are screened. There is 220 and 110 volts throughout the unit. Hot and cold water is available in all bathrooms and the kitchen. Marazul Dive Resort is gated (code access), guarded at night, well maintained, and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Less than a two-minute stroll from your patio, on the ocean side of the resort, is a saltwater pool surrounded by palm trees and lounge chairs. Marazul Dive Resort has a manager who helps take care of all your needs. There are linens, towels, toilet paper and soap in the unit on your arrival. The unit is self-catering. It is not a hotel where there is daily cleaning. The unit is available for both short term and long term rentals. A sea wall sits above a 9 meter (30 foot) cliff overlooking the Caribbean Ocean. Sunsets from here are absolutely spectacular! The vast semicircular Westpunt Bay is accessed via two stairways (one on the right and one on the left of the resort) where you can slip into the crystal-clear turquoise Caribbean Ocean for snorkeling, swimming, diving, or just floating. Go West Diving (Playa Kalki) is 7 min drive from Marazul to the left (north). Bahia Diving and the Bahia Beach Bar & Restaurant are an 8-minute drive to the right (south). BEACHES The absolute best beaches on Curacao are within a maximum ten-minute drive. NATIONAL PARKS Shete Boka National Park and Christoffel National Park are a 15-minute drive from your unit. WILLEMSTAD The historic city of Willemstad is about a 35-minute drive (depending on traffic) to the south. Guest access Guests have private use of the full house as well as shared access to the rest of the resort's shared spaces (e.g. pool, gazebo, grounds) Other things to note The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, and basic appliances. Guests are welcome to cook, but please bring your own cooking oil, salt, pepper, and any spices or condiments.
