When it comes to location, Oleander is hard to beat. This modern, well furnished residential beachside apartment is superbly situated, in the heart of the tourist area, sandwiched between the golf course, and beach. This spacious 1st floor apartment with large communal pool offers open plan living, fully equipped kitchen and French doors leading out onto a spacious 32” covered terrace, from where you can relax and enjoy both the fabulous sea view and the cooling Atlantic breeze. The well maintained spacious apartment has been decorated and fitted out to a high standard and offers an open plan living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, blender, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. A flat screen TV, both DVD and CD players and a selection of DVD’s and CD’s are provided for your entertainment, together with a selection of holiday reading. Cable TV and Wi-Fi internet are also included for your convenience. Ceiling fans and AC are fitted in all rooms, but with wonderful trade winds wafting through you will often find neither is needed. All doors and windows in the open plan living area are screened. St Kitts has some wonderful beaches, some with bars, restaurants and beach loungers for rent, others totally deserted. So if you fancy taking yourself off to a deserted beach to play Robinson Crusoe for the day, I even provide you with beach towels, beach chairs, a cool bag, a sun umbrella and picnic essentials! A local cell phone is also provided for your use during your stay to make booking restaurants or taxis simple. The Caribbean beach, with its numerous bars/restaurants, known as “the Strip”, is a gentle stroll away, and there’s a large selection of restaurants, shops, food stores within a stone's throw. Oleander really is ‘home from home’, in the perfect location on a ‘Special Gem’ of an island; and for that reason, many of our guests return each year and have left glowing reviews on sites such as HomeAway and TripAdvisor. If you have limited mobility, please note there is a flight of stairs to access the apartment but once inside Oleander, it's all on one level. The communal site is easy access. As well as the wonderful communal pool with chairs and sunbeds, there is also a tennis court - rackets and balls are provided. The beach is accessed directly from the communal area. I will meet you at the apartment and settle you into Oleander. Should you wish, I can, by prior arrangement and at your expense, organize to stock the fridge with basic essentials in readiness for your arrival, although the local food store is now open until late in the evening. You will be provided with full details of what’s on offer so that you may plan you holiday to suite yourself. And if you need any help in organizing tours, car hire or are just looking for recommendation for a special treat, I am only too happy to assist by sharing a wealth of local knowledge. A local rate cell phone will be at your disposal for the duration of your stay. My aim is to ensure you have a wonderful vacation on my home Island and I will do all I can to help you achieve this. Oleander is located in the heart of Frigate Bay, the prime tourist area on the Island, with the choice of both the Atlantic and the Caribbean beaches within just a few minutes’ walk. It's just a stone's throw to numerous, shops, coffee bars, restaurants and mini markets. The local Taxi rank and the Casino at the Marriott Resort are also in the vicinity. You really are in an amazingly convenient location. Locally, its just so easy to explore on foot, but if you wish to explore more of the beautiful Island, you have the choice of organised excursions, taking one of the plentiful private taxis, or renting your own car, for which I am happy to provide recommendations. If time permits, I would also strongly recommend you try some or all of the following: •a catamaran snorkel & BBQ trip, •a ride on the scenic sugar train •a visit to the UNESCO world heritage site of Brimstone Hill Fortress •a visit to Romney Manor & Caribelle Batik •a trip to our sister island of Nevis.
