Enjoy the Jay Peak area from the comfort of your own secluded campsite, tucked away in Vermont’s quiet north woods. This cozy hexagonal glamping pod is powered and climate-controlled, offering a peaceful blend of comfort and simplicity; perfect for those who want to unplug and get in touch with their primitive side. Enjoy the private fire pit or unwind in the shared hot tub, just steps away. NOTE: the detached toilet facilities are open year-round. The shower is closed during winter months. The space The Tupelo Campsite is part of Crofter's Green - a small collection of handcrafted cottages, two glamping pods (aka "campsites"), and a post-and-beam event barn on our 25-acre property. We also have a hot tub nestled in the woods, a primitive trail system, and a large communal fire pit. Each space is designed to feel simple, peaceful, and connected to nature. Guests often stay with us for ski and snowboard getaways, quiet retreats, and warm-season wedding weekends. If this campsite is booked on your dates, check out one of our other accommodations: - The Caribe (sleeps 2, pet-friendly) - The Adobe (sleeps 4, friendly) - The O'Shea Farmhouse (sleeps 4, pet-friendly) - The Teahouse (sleeps 2) - The Sugar Shack (sleeps 2) - The Clover Campsite (sleeps 2) The Tupelo Campsite was specifically designed with comfort in mind. Here are some of the amenities we include to make your stay more enjoyable: - Comfortable queen bed - Small desk area with stool - Shared restroom facilities (open year-round) with three-season shower (CLOSED during the winter) - Private outdoor seating area with Adirondack chairs and fire pit (in addition to the larger communal fire pit) - Wifi access - Climate control for year-round comfort - Access to shared hot tub, primitive trail system, and large fire pit Guest access While the climate-controlled sleeping pod and surrounding Tupelo Campsite area (including Adirondack chairs and a Solo Stove) are private, there are a number of shared amenities guests may take advantage of. These include: - hot tub - picnic tables - charcoal grill - primitive trail system - large communal fire pit and seating area - Wash Cabin: this state-of-the-art bathroom facility features a 3-season locking shower and two locking bathroom stalls. It is shared between the Tupelo Campsite and the one other campsite on the property. Other things to note The Tupelo Campsite is tucked into the woods, so you may hear wildlife or see the occasional critter. Please travel with all-wheel drive and snow tires between the months of November and April. Crofter's Green is located directly off the main road and our driveway is mostly flat. The main town roads around the property are hilly; though the highway teams work hard to keep these roads well-maintained, we live in a very wintry part of the state and the weather can sometimes be unpredictable. Please note, access to the Tupelo Campsite and the Wash Cabin facilities require guests to take a short walk through the woods.
