Little Rolling Home

Escape to nature's embrace at our Little Rolling Home, nestled on a stunning 12-acre block surrounded by ancient gums, a seasonal creek, and grazing sheep and cattle. Enjoy our little wood heater inside to keep you warm or sit around a fire outside. ( within fire ban season, please note fire ban runs from November 1st 2025- April 30th 2026 ) We have the beautiful Strathalbyn golf course 2 minutes drive, feel free to borrow the golf clubs and have a hit of golf. The space The main home is located nearby, however the Little Rolling Home is completely separate and has un-obstructed views of nature. We are off-grid so please be conscientious of your footprint by switching appliances and lights off when not in use or no longer required. Avoid excessive showering and please follow instructions of how to use the waterless composting toilet. No party’s or extra guests are permitted on the property unless prior approval has been approved. Guest access Feel free to explore the property within the boundary fence shared by the home. Pack a picnic lunch and take in the spectacular views at the top of the hill with views of Lake Alexandrina and beyond. Easy access over the creek can be found to the left of the Little Rolling Home over the bridge. Other things to note Network coverage is limited - we currently do not have Wi-Fi available so make the most of the natural ambience and stunning night sky. Please note that the outdoor fire pit is only permitted to be used within South Australia’s fire ban rules. Dates can change at any time. Please check the CFS website for exact dates. As our tiny home is completely off grid we provided a ‘Cooling only’ air conditioner for the warmer summer months plus a ceiling fan above the bed and have a cozy wood heater for the cooler months.
