The space It's right on the lake, easy access from highway 95 and Silverwood Theme Park is just 10 miles away. First come, first serve. 3 day minimum. It's a popular cabin because of its location right on the water and easy access in and out of town. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but are only 15 minutes to Silverwood, a WalMart, Movie Theater, etc...and just 20 minutes to downtown Coeur d'Alene. Please book early and we are sorry in advance if we don't have availability for the dates you want. BEACH - We are always asked if there is a beach front or grass area at our cabin. The cabin is literally built on top of the lake. There are not many homes on Hayden that have beach or grass frontage because it's a mountain lake. However, we built 3,000 SQ/FT of DECKS and DOCK on the property to be able to layout, play and enjoy! Keywords: Hayden Lake cabin, Hayden Lake rentals, Hayden Lake Vacation Home, Hayden Lake vacation rentals Guest access You are obviously free to use the cabin and dock areas. The third level is a storage area that guests cannot access. Guests will get a key code to use on the door as their "key". There are 3 parking spots and we only allow 3 vehicles on the property. DO NOT BRING YOUR BOAT ON THE TRAILER DOWN TO THE CABIN !! There is no place to turn it around. You can bring a trailer without a boat if you can unhitch it and manually flip it around. The boat launch is only 10 minutes from the cabin which is at Sportsmen's Park on E. Hayden Lake Rd. Other things to note We have amazing neighbors. If there are parties that seem like more than 9 people on the property, they will contact us so please observe our guest limit. Best to bring your own drinking water. The tap water is from a well with high levels of iron although there is no issue with cleaning, showering, etc. You can drink the water but advised to limit intake if concerned. Hayden Lake has implemented strict boundaries on how close you can ski to the shore. You will notice white and red bouys on the water. Essentially you need to ski at least 200' away from the shore which is mostly in the main channel. If the water sheriff is out they will ticket you for this violation should you get too close to docks and the shore. Please be aware Hayden Lake also has a hand held orange flag policy that whenever a skier is in the water (exclusive of jet skis) an orange flag must be waved until that skier is no longer present. This is an important safety issue and you will be ticketed if observed not following this rule. You can purchase these flags at Walmart and Black Sheep Sporting Goods (both closest to the cabin) if you do not have one. The main thing is to enjoy this beautiful lake and practice safety, be smart and you will have a fabulous time!!
