The Alley House

Enjoy a peaceful, restful stay in our cute little Alley House Getaway for up to 3 people. It’s a tiny 1 bedroom apartment with a queen bed, a loveseat that makes into a twin bed if needed, and 2 wall-mounted tvs. The kitchenette offers a coffee station, refrigerator/freezer, portable cooktop, and a microwave. The cabinets are stocked with all your cooking needs. The apartment includes 2 split ac/heating units for added comfort. The space Bedroom: 1 queen-sized bed with a comfy new mattress encased in a zippered mattress protector, pillows also with zippered pillow protectors, new bedding and soft sheets. Side tables include 2 touch controlled lamps with usb ports, a plug in, and a clock. It also includes a wall-mounted tv with a remote controlled Roku device added. There is also a remote controlled ac/heat split unit on the wall above the bed and one in the living room above the couch/twin sleeper for added comfort. Both units have their own remotes and are labeled on the back. Just keep them on the side tables in the room where they belong. The closet has ample room for hanging clothes and includes extra hangers, an iron, and an ironing board. It also has a chest of drawers with extra linens in the bottom 2 drawers. The tiny bath has a large shower with travel-sized body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. It will be stocked with plenty of towels and wash rags along with a little wooden basket filled with personal items that you may have forgotten such as pre-pasted toothbrushes, razors, etc. Also in the bathroom by the light switch and exhaust fan are the controls for the on demand hot water system for the house. Remember to let the water run several seconds before the hot water kicks in. The small kitchenette includes a coffee bar sitting on top of a small pantry cabinet with paper/plastic goods, a refrigerator with a freezer, ice machine, microwave, toaster, electric can opener, a two burner portable electric cooktop in the lower cabinets along with brand new pots and pans. The upper cabinets have dishes, glassware, a mixer and mixing bowls. In the drawers are eating and cooking utensils, cup towels, and wash rags. It also has a tiny bar with 2 brand new swivel bar stools. The den has a large, wall-mounted smart tv with remote control, a small loveseat that unfolds into a comfy twin bed, 2 side tables with plug-ins and usb outlets, a swivel rocker recliner, and a vintage armless chair. Whew! Guest access Use the bumpy alleyway between 34th and 35th Street off Avenue A to access the house. Park either beside or behind the apartment. A code will be sent to you by Airbnb prior to your arrival for the WiFi controlled keyless lock. Remember, the big house in front of our “Alley House” is another Airbnb unit called “Nanny’s Nifty Fifties House” and will be occupied with other guests, so please do not park in front or to the side of the big house in 35th street! Other things to note Remember, due to health and allergy reasons, this rental is a non-smoking (that includes marijuana-the distinct odor is difficult to remove $$) and no pet unit (unless I approve). If you must smoke, please do so outside and place your “ butts” in the sand bucket by the door. Thank you.
