Shared apartment room "Limmat" with balcony

Exceptional opportunity. In our shared apartment (2 rooms/2 bathrooms) in a very large 4.5-room condominium, a large room is available. The room is about 20 m2 and leads to a small balcony. The bathroom has a shower/toilet and sink. The shared kitchen is huge and well equipped, the large, shared living/dining room has a fireplace and a piano in addition to a seating area and a large dining table. The space The former farmhouse dates back to the 19th century and has thick quarry stone walls on the lower 2 floors. In 2000, it was completely renovated and 3 modern condominiums were built. In our 2-story condominium there is a shared apartment (3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living/dining room) and in addition a studio with its own bathroom On the ground floor there is a storage room with shoe racks and a laundry room with a shared washing tower (dryer, washing machine). The Limmat room (18 m²) has a bed (90/200) with a pull-out bed of the same size, table, 2 chairs, a 2-door wardrobe, bookcase, dresser, armchair and TV On the balcony there is a small table and 2 chairs. Towels, linens, duvet and pillows are provided. The bathroom has a shower, sink, mirror cabinet and toilet. Guest access The apartment complex includes the two bedrooms "Limmat" and "Reuss" on the 2nd floor and 2 bathrooms. The large kitchen and the very large dining/living room, as well as the balcony in the living room are used by the members of the apartment community 2 to a maximum of 3 tenants. In the 18 m² modern kitchen there is an induction hob, oven, steamer, warming drawer and many drawers and storage areas. Also a coffee machine and all necessary kitchen appliances and equipment. The large dining table in the living/dining room (42 m2) with 8 chairs, the large seating area and the fireplace invite you to linger. A covered balcony with a table and chairs can be used. On request (if still available), a covered parking space can be rented for CHF 80.00. Directly opposite the property is a small public free parking lot. However, these places are usually occupied in the evening. On the ground floor there is a "storage room" e.g. for shoes and a shared laundry room with a washing tower (washing machine, dryer). Bicycles can be safely locked in the outdoor area. During your stay We live a few kilometers from the property. If you have any questions, concerns or problems, please do not hesitate to call us. We also come by every now and then, as we still use some rooms in the house (attic, basement, garage). When we are traveling, our son (lives right next to the Airbnb apartment) or another co-host is your contact person. You will receive all the information from us. Other things to note The house is located in a quiet location in the old village center of Lauffohr. The village bus stop is a 2-minute walk. It connects Lauffohr with Brugg center, Zurzach, Döttingen and the PSI. From Brugg train station, you can reach Zurich or Basel in 40 minutes and Bern or Lucerne in 60 minutes. We live in a local recreation area; in a few minutes you are in the forest of the Bruggerberg or on a river: 500 m from our house the Aare, Reuss and Limmat rivers flow together (geographical water castle of Switzerland). Here you can hike, canoe, bike or simply enjoy nature. In Brugg there are the shops: Migros, Coop, Denner and Lidl (right at the train station), as well as specialty shops, banks, post office, doctors and other services. In the surrounding area of Brugg there are four castles (Habsburg Castle, Wildegg Castle, Lenzburg Castle, Hallwyl Castle), the Wettingen monastery peninsula, the Königsfelden monastery with its beautiful glass windows, the Vindonissa Roman Museum in Brugg and the Roman adventure trail "Legionary Trail Vindonssa" with original sites. The old town of Brugg is absolutely worth seeing: the Aare Bridge and the Black Tower (1238), the baroque Latin school house (1638-40), the salt house (1732) and the pretty Hofstatt and the small alleys, townhouses, city walls invite you to take a tour. Interesting city tours are also offered.
