Vacation apartment on the farm

Welcome to our vacation apartment on our cozy farm in Straßenhaus. On 67 m² on the ground floor of the house you will find a stylish, modern bathroom, 2 bedrooms with cozy double beds (1.8 m x 2 m and 2 m x 2 m) and an additional sofa bed (1.6 m wide) in the larger room. The kitchen is fully equipped – including dishwasher and large fridge-freezer. Discover country life with our horses, sheep, chickens, turkeys and ducks right outside the front door. The space The apartment is divided into a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The apartment is located in our residential building on the ground floor, so you will experience daily life on the farm up close. In addition to Steffi and Dominik, the farm also has our own 4 horses, several hired horses that are cared for by their owners, 30 chickens, 2 turkeys, 3 ducks, 4 sheep with 6 lambs, 4 dogs and 6 cats (with offspring since May 2024). We both work full-time outside, so it can be quiet during the day, but from noon/afternoon there is often a lot of activity on the farm. Accordingly, it is of course sometimes louder due to the work with the tractor and the animals. In return, you will experience firsthand how a small farm is managed and get to know the work with the animals - of course, provided that you want to. If possible, please bring bed linens and towels. If this is not possible, please let us know in advance so that we can prepare accordingly. Important additional information about New Year's Eve: Many animals live on our farm, and there is also a lot of nature with wild animals around it. Accordingly, the use of fireworks - both on New Year's Eve and the rest of the year - is not permitted. Please respect that we want to create a quiet place for our animals and our guests. At the same time, unfortunately, due to the proximity to a shooting club as well as to the nearest village, we cannot guarantee a New Year's Eve free of firecrackers. Guest access You have a separate entrance to the apartment and can of course move around freely there. For this purpose, you can come with us to the animals and get to know the farm after consultation with us. Other things to note Please note that you bring your own bed linen (blankets, pillows and covers) and towels.
