The Segur Cottage

The Segur Cottage offers you a well-appointed living space with a well equipped kitchen, leading to a dining room and a lounge. The accommodation is entirely on one level with double glazing. From the corridor, you access the shower room, 3 bedrooms and a home office. The garden is accessible from the front of the house. Secure parking is available. You can reach the village on foot in 8-10 minutes via a small path and a footbridge. The house is on the main access road into Segur. The space The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchen utensils and plenty of cutlery and crockery. There is a TV available in the living room space, with LG channels only. Bedding will be provided at additional cost of 6 Euros/person/stay. 1 set of towels including spare kitchen towels will be made available. The main bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom has a standard double, 140cm x 200cm. The third bedroom has a small double, 130cm x 190cm. Other things to note Ségur-le-Château is in the department of the Corrèze (19). The village sits between the Haute-Vienne, and the Dordogne. Ségur is in the true sense a magical medieval village and an architectural delight. It is defined by an imposing castle and the valley of the Auvézère with its powerful river. We are 30 mins from the A20 motorway, junction 42. Brive-la-Gaillarde, Uzerche and Limoges offer direct rail links to Paris. There are several flights a week from various UK airports to Limoges, operated by Ryanair and easyJet. In season, Ségur has three restaurants, La Part des Anges, La Ruelle, Le P’ti Bar and a tea room, Lou Castel. Booking the restaurants in advance is recommended. An épecerie is located at La Ruelle offering essentials, dépot de pain and viennoiserie at the weekend. During July and August, Ségur hosts a popular evening summer market on Mondays, selling local produce with food and music. There are also small retail shops that endorse and celebrate the artisans living in the village.
