The space Cuckoo squirrel is a shared space cabin, ideal for families or groups of friends. It is built of wood and integrated with nature. The trees planted around it (guamos and aguacatillos) harmoniously embrace and protect it. Its particular location gives it magnificent views of a large regenerating forest, the mountains, the natural environment and the city of Manizales. From the upper floor it is possible to see the Nevado del Ruíz. The cabin has two floors, the first floor includes an interior space of 36 m2, with windows to admire nature, a dining or working table, two double beds and a large covered balcony of 20 m2. There is also the bathroom and descending a wooden ramp, there is an outdoor shower and a wooden bathtub that provide an exceptional experience. The second level offers the best view of the cabin, and is accessed from the inside by a staircase, and has a double bed. Other things to note TOMINEJO, more than an ecotourism project, is a life purpose of Gina Marcela and Luis Fernando, a couple of professionals in the Agricultural Sector, lovers of conservation and caring for the planet. It all started in 2013 when they bought a farm in the North of Caldas, municipality of Neira. There they began planting native trees with the aim of attracting birds and other species, as well as protecting water sources and soil. Little by little they have seen them grow with great enthusiasm and have been able to appreciate their wonderful impact on the ecosystem by learning with them. In 2020 they decided to make a tree house to be able to see the forest up close and experience the magnitude of being immersed in it, and this experience was so impactful for them that they decided to open their doors in 2021 so that others People could feel like a bird in its habitat. In this way Gina and Luis seek to transmit and empower the love for nature, leaving a seed of environmental responsibility in each heart that visits them.
