The warm wood paneling creates a homely atmosphere, as you know it from classic mountain huts or converted vans: • Living & cooking: Functional kitchenette with electric stove, fridge and everything needed for simple meals. • Sleeping: A separate, small bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable sofa bed in the living area for up to two more guests. • Bathroom: Sink with shower cubicle and a separate toilet are provided. ________________________________________ Important notes We want you to enjoy your stay to the fullest. Please note: 1. Simplicity instead of luxury: The furnishings are functional and cozy. There's no air conditioning, but we provide a fan. In addition, it usually cools down pleasantly in the evening, so you can sleep well with the window open – or you can treat yourself to a dip in the nearby lake for refreshment. 2. Real neighborhood feeling: The mobile home is situated on our private property in a quiet residential neighborhood. 3. Space: The mobile home is not suitable for guests who need large suitcases and spacious rooms. Region info The dam of Rossens, built in 1948, has led to the creation of the largest reservoir in Switzerland. It is 13.5 km long.  The lake invites you to many leisure activities. Whether with pedalo, rowing, sailing or rubber boat, kayak or sup, or with a simple jump into the water, on and in the lake, you can experience a lot of fun and at the same time enjoy nature. Out of the lake, the small islet of Ogoz (Ile d'Ogoz) protrudes on which two Castle ruins, which you should definitely visit. In winter, when the water level of the lake is much lower, the island can be visited from the shore, but in summer only by boat, kayak or paddle. From the tower of the castle ruins you have a beautiful view and on the island it also has a fire pit to grill. There is a beautiful circular path around the lake. When the undergrowth clears, hikers can enjoy the unique view of the pre Alps and the coves with turquoise waters on this hike in the heart of La Gruyère. On the approximately 44 km, which can be hiked in several stages, they discover the fauna and flora and the regional heritage. The route is easy and easily accessible by public transportation.  In Broc, at the southern end of the lake is the first chocolate factory in Switzerland, the famous chocolate factory Cailler. The visit is an experience for young and old. East Greyerzersee, in the Fribourg foothills, is the "La Berra", which offers itself as a hiking destination with beautiful views. On the opposite side of the lake, the Gibloux hill rises. On its summit is an antenna tower with a viewing platform. The top of Molésons and the beautiful medieval town of Greyerz with its castle offers beautiful getaways not far from Hauteville. In the immediate vicinity of the town of Gruyère is also the large Gruyère Show Dairy. Hauteville is located 20km from Fribourg, 10km from Bulle and 42km from Montreux.
