Cottage for 2 families

Beautiful cottage with a completely enclosed courtyard (seating, grill) is especially suitable for families with children; however, recreation for adults is not excluded. It is a quiet location surrounded by nature, meadows and forests ideal not only for mushroom pickers. During the summer, accommodation is only possible in weekly turns (Sat-Sat). NEW YEAR'S EVE - still free, price for at least 3 nights (the days can be flexibly arranged, on the contrary it is possible to go for fewer nights, but the price remains the same). The space There is a large covered outdoor seating area in the grassy enclosed courtyard in front of the cottage, where guests have privacy. It can also be used for a pleasant rest in front of the gazebo. There is also a swing bench, a portable grill and a slide for children or a small sandpit in the garden. On hot summer days, you can cool off in the pool. A new table football is available. Accommodation in the cottage The cottage for rent provides accommodation for 11 people (it is possible to add 2 extra beds for children) in 3 bedrooms. The cottage is divided into two separate parts, and is therefore also suitable for the recreation of two families, which ensures their own privacy. There are 3 bedrooms: 6-bed bedroom (2 beds in the living room and 4 beds in the adjacent room separated by a curtain). 4-bed bedroom (2 extra beds possible). 1 bed bedroom (1 bed in a smaller room). Bathroom: 1 bathroom and 1 separate bathroom with shower. Heating: In one 4-bed bedroom there is a tiled stove, in the other 6-bed bedroom there is a cast iron stove. In 2021, we had a tiled stove newly built in the kitchen, which had previously served our ancestors in the same place. These stoves are connected to the tiled stove in the living room, so by heating in one stove, heat can be achieved in several rooms. It can also be heated with a direct heater. Firewood is included. Transport, parking: Parking is possible inside the fenced garden at the cottage (max. 3 cars). Another option is parking in front of the building (max. 2 cars). Catering There are 2 well-equipped kitchens: A kitchenette that is part of one 6-bed bedroom and a separate kitchen in the room adjacent to the 1 and 4-bed bedrooms. The nearest restaurant is 3 km away in Olešnice n. M. Cottage equipment Kitchen equipment in a separate kitchen: electric stove (4 - hot plate glass ceramic hob), oven, large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, toaster, electric kettle and coffee machine for capsules. Wifi cannot be installed in the cottage due to the location and the width of the walls, however, we have had positive feedback on its absence - especially children spend time together instead of looking at screens :-). Kitchen equipment in the kitchenette: electric stove (2 - hot plate glass ceramic hob), small fridge, microwave, electric kettle. A TV is available in the living room. Trips, attractions, entertainment Not far from the place of stay (3 km) is the town of Olešnice n. Moravia, which is famous for dairy production and the production of blueprint. Interestingly, this company dressed our athletes for the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022. In the local dairy shop you can buy tasty cheeses, Olešnice butter, cottage cheese and other delicacies. There is also a pleasant place to sit with coffee and desserts or milkshakes with the possibility of connecting to Wifi. The prices of local products are very low, so you can start a new day with a coffee or cocktail without having a significant impact on your wallet. If you feel like smoked meat / on Tuesday from a home smokehouse /, sausages or pickled neck for grilling, we recommend visiting the renowned local smokehouse "Šutera". The production of modrotisk (blueprint) is famous here. School trips are held here and it is also possible to visit for tourists. Interestingly, the Olympians representing our country at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing were dressed by this company, which advertised our country. It is possible to visit the Museum of Ghosts, which is based on local legends. There are exhibited very successful figures of people who seem to have come to life and transported us to the past thanks to the audio recording. Legends are interesting not only for children but also for adults. In winter, we recommend using the nearby Ski Resort in Olešnice, which is one of the most attractive in the area. Both beginner children and more advanced skiers will find fun on it. In summer, we recommend a walk around the new cross path to the top of the ski resort. The area is popular with cyclists. There are a number of bike trails with local legends and lookouts overlooking the town of Svitavy or the Jeseníky Mountains. On one main cycle path you can visit the castles of Svojanov and Pernštejn, which you know from fairy tales such as The Lucky Loser, Salt Over Gold, Seven Crows, etc. The second main cycle path leads from Bohemia to Moravia (Kněževes - Kunštát) along the old imperial road. Also worth mentioning is the nearby town of Kunštát, famous for its ceramic products, where, in addition to the local castle, you can also visit seasonal ceramic markets or the Blanický Knights' Cave in the adjacent village of Rudka. Swimming is possible both at the swimming pool in Olešnice and 12 km away in Letovice, where there is also the natural reservoir Křetínka. Furthermore, in the region there is the historic town of Boskovice with preserved architecture of the Jewish part of the town, with a castle, a castle and a Western town. The region is famous for the Moravian Karst. If you would like to go boating with children, you must book tickets in advance. The most beautiful stalactites can be found in Sloupsko - Šošůvské caves, the entrance of which is near the pilgrimage town of Sloup.
