Cozy room, private kitchen & shared bathroom
Description
Welcome to our comfortable and cozy home in a leafy suburb of Stockholm, a perfectly ordinary area with its own character. Here, you'll stay comfortably in a cozy room with its own kitchen, a shared bathroom, and a private entrance, all on the ground floor in a quiet residential neighborhood. With convenient public transportation, you can easily get to the city center, and pets are, of course, welcome. For those who work remotely, there is fast Wi-Fi and a well-stocked grocery store right around the corner. We do our best to make you feel at home! The space In the room there is a 120 cm wide bed, a large desk and a reading corner with armchair and reading lamp. There is plenty of storage space in a really spacious closet. Our WiFi network is super fast. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a small refrigerator, oven and microwave as well as an electric kettle and a toaster. In the kitchen there is also a small high dining table and two barstools. The master bathroom is shared with our youngest son who lives at home. In the bathroom there is a shower, towel dryer, and comfortable bath towels. We have a farm cat named 'Frasse' who usually stays outside. We also have a spirited and happy Golden Retriever named 'Atlaz'. We try to make it comfortable even for your pet who is also welcome to our home. Guest access In addition to your room, the small adjacent kitchen is your space as well as of course the spacious bathroom, which is shared with our youngest son (who lives in the room opposite your room). Your room, bathroom and small kitchen are located on the lower level of the villa and have their own private entrance. We have a patio that you are welcome to use. There is also a barbecue. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood near green areas. During your stay You are always welcome to contact us during your stay. One of us is usually - but not always - at home and is happy to answer questions. Of course, we are also easily reached by phone. Our farm cat 'Frasse' is often outdoors while our energetic and cheerful Golden Retriever 'Atlaz' is with us in the villa or out for walks. Other things to note We live in a quiet residential area in a lush suburb of Stockholm. There are very good transport links to Stockholm City. It is about 20 minutes walk to Stuvsta station. From there it is a 13 minute ride by commuter train to the city. Alternatively you can ride the bus 704 to and from Fruängen, which is located along the "red metro line". More information about public transport can be found if you search SL or Storstockholms Lokaltrafik. A stone's throw from our villa is a well-stocked and newly renovated grocery store (Hemköp) that is open from 7 am to 10 pm every day of the week. Other larger shops are also available in our vicinity and there are several restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The world's second largest IKEA is in the Kungens Kurva, where there are also many other big shops. Our house is also not far from Karolinska Hospital Huddinge and Södertörn University, where it is easy to get to municipal. Within walking distance of our villa there are nice natural areas and two popular swimming lakes. Gömmaren is a small lake located in a nature reserve, and Långsjön is located in a residential area. There are plenty of nice walking paths in residential areas and green spaces.
