The Studio at Shoreland

A peaceful cottage in North Queensferry with magnificent views onto the UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge. Only a short steep walk uphill to the train station to Edinburgh and ON the Fife Coastal walking path. Nestled between the three Forth bridges you have the option of train, car or walking across to South Queensferry. Deep Sea World, The Wee Restaurant fine dining, Rankin's Cafe and the small Lighthouse Museum only a short walk away. The space The Studio is an open plan layout including a kitchen, dining and lounge area. The bedroom area has a double bed and on suite bathroom with a shower. There is a foldout bed for a third person (which is then made up near the front door area). Please see photos for the floorplan. Guest access Access is off Main Road at the Shoreland sign. Look for the double carport and follow the metal stairs to the left. Stairs lead down past the main house door to the lower level and The Studio is straight ahead. Lockbox on the right hand side of the door. Other things to note There are two flights of stairs to get to the lower level and The Studio. Parking is not allowed on the pavement outside the house but there is free roadside parking 2 minute walk up to Ferry Road and also at Battery Road Car Park (the lower side of the village) There is a small pond in the garden - please watch any children. The lower edge of the garden does not have a fence and there is a drop to sea level. We have a friendly cat and small dog which you might see in the garden while visiting.
