Shalom Ranch, beautiful, peaceful rural apartment

Located in beautiful Poetry Texas, halfway between Royse City and Terrell, 15 miles from Rockwall’s The Harbor on Beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard, with great restaurants and retail. Shalom Ranch is gated, fenced 10.5 acres with longhorns and chickens. Peaceful country setting, great for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, being close to a wedding venue or just resting and relaxing. Conveniently located within 15 miles of 16 wedding venues. Only 38 miles to Canton’s First Monday Trade Days. The space The road dead ends at Shalom Ranch so there is no traffic and very quiet. Perfect place to relax laying in bed or sitting in a recliner watching the 50” Smart Roku TV with Direct TV, read a book or take a great nap. Or step out of your door into the backyard and enjoy the swimming pool with waterfall, lounge in the shade or sun or use the dining or sitting areas. The outdoor kitchen is available for serious cooking. The 38’ Memphis Elite is a pellet grill, a smoker, or an oven with temperatures from 180-700 degrees. The 20” Alfresco power burner can also be a griddle. There is a sink with hot and cold water and two regular size burners. High speed internet is available. Guest access The apartment is one large room the size of a garage. It is attached to the main house with a front and back door. Covered parking is provided with a covered walkway to the back door, which is the main door. Guests are welcome to use all the outdoor areas. The swimming pool, fire pit, kitchen, dinning areas, and all front yard and back yard sitting areas. The back of the property is wooded and backs up to a dry creek. Guests are welcome to explore the property but will be greeted by two very friendly, very happy Great Pyrenees. They won’t go past the field due to electric dog fence. Other things to note The swimming pool does not have a fence so children would always have to be supervised. Both entrances have child proof locks to ensure children can’t exit on their own. There are two Great Pyrenees guard dogs in the field guarding the chickens. They are extremely friendly and happy but may bark at night if they sense a predator. There are Longhorns in the field but they won’t bother anyone unless you have cubes to feed them. They can be fed over the fence. We can provide cubes. There is a card table and 4 chairs under the bed. There are several board games and a Jenga block game available. Small dogs are allowed, the Pyrenees love small dogs but may bark at large dogs. Terrell has many good restaurants and grocery stores and is the most convenient to get to. Outdoor smoking is allowed just use the outdoor ashtray.
