The space The Manor allows you to escape into peaceful serenity. away from technology. A place where you can reconnect with life, listen to the wild birds and watch the local wallaby colony. Only three kilometers from town and on the Nan2 bike trail with easy access to BRVT links, wineries, Bunya Mts and many other local attractions. Relax in the Manor and spend the evenings by the firepit under the stars. We have attempted to keep as much as possible of the original federation cottage intact. Though previous owners have made their own 'modern' additions. The Manor a number of original casement windows as well as french doors from the kitchen into the dining/living area. With the additions made over time, the Manor contains four bedrooms with one closed off for private storage; a full bathroom containing vanity, shower & toilet with an additional toilet at the end of the hall way. Dining / Lounge room and the Main bedroom have original beautiful ornate ceilings. The Laundry leads out to the back of the house with close hoist on eastern wall of house. The access road to the Manor will lead you to the attached three bay carport. From here you access the main house entrance to the Kitchen via the back verandah. Your Tarriff allows you the fenced area around dwelling including the fire pit, lawn areas and beautiful shade tree. Please Note - Wombat Manor is located on a larger property which forms part of a grazing entity under Biosecurity. As a Government Imposed regulation for the Cattle Industry, it is imperative that the Biosecurity is not breached by bringing animals to the property. Guest access The Manor is situated on a property associated with our grazing entity. Access is off Greenwood Creek Road with a grid at the road entrance and a gravel track up to the Manor. Your private space for the stay is the Manor and fenced area around the dwelling. Your welcome to hike around the property but we request you stay clear of the neighboring house properties. There is a gate at the Manor which needs to be kept closed at all times to keep the horses and cattle out. Our stock are very quiet and enjoy human company. If allowed to venture into the house yard they will cause damage to property. Other things to note Biosecurity - this is essential to our grazing enterprise, therefore under no circumstances can animals be brought to our property. Fire Pit - The fire pit is for burning wood only - do not burn any type of rubbish in the pit. Whilst we welcome guests to use the fire pit, if we deem it too dry or there is a government enforced fire ban, then guests will be informed not to use the fire pit. Wood is not supplied for the fire pit and guests will need to bring their own supplies.
