Whether it’s a couple’s getaway, a girls’ trip, or a small family vacation, Blue Ridge Beacon in Banner Elk provides an ideal home base for those looking to experience North Carolina’s beauty in all seasons. The space Ski Slope Views (winter) Bedroom 1: Queen Bed Bedroom 2: Queen Bed Tub/Shower Combo Bath Smart TV, floor fans, board games, private balcony with seating and gas grill Fully equipped kitchen, combo k cup and drip coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishware/flatware, blender, crock pot Free WiFi, keyless entry, electric heating, in-unit washer/dryer, laundry detergent, towels/linens, hair dryer, trash bags/paper towels Approximately 5 steps are required for access. The condo itself is all on one level. Park in front of the condo (please no more than 2 vehicles). Parking is first come, first serve with no assigned spaces. Please do not block the turn around space which is marked with signage. Up to two dogs welcome with $100 pet fee. Guest access Guests have full use of the condo with the exception of a few locked owner's closets. Other things to note Our condo is in Banner Elk, located in the heart of the NC high country! What does this mean for you? In colder / snowy seasons: you WILL need snow tires or chains, and an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. The weather in the mountains can change in an instant, and we may not be able to accommodate adding extra days to your stay in inclement weather. Please ensure your vehicle is equipped properly for mountain driving in the snow. In warmer seasons: please watch carefully for wildlife. We have foxes, deer, and even bears! Do not leave any food or trash outside the condo. Do not leave food in your vehicles. Please drive carefully as we frequently see newborn deer crossing the roads in late spring / early summer. *** Please remember that we do get snow, rain, fog, and other occasional inconveniences that are out of our control here in the mountains. Winter weather can occur here from November through April. This property is accessed and maintained via a paved road and parking area which may be icy or snowy during winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means four-wheel drive, good tires, and possibly snow chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for potentially hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from weather conditions out of our control. ***
