Welcome to La Veranda Hotel & Restaurant located in the jungles of Sierra Nevada, 15 minutes walk from Minca, and 45 minutes drive from Santa Marta. The location, at an elevation of 700m makes the climate a bit cooler. The day temperature is around 28c and drops to around 20c at night. Minca is a must to visit on your vacation in Santa Marta, there are excellent hiking possibilities, many beautiful waterfalls, as well as excursions such as horseback riding, coffee tours, bird watching, etc. The space We are a Swedish-owned hotel with 7 private rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms & hot showers! The rooms are decorated in a minimalistic style with Nordic influences. La Veranda is a calm oasis in the breathtaking nature of the Sierra Nevada where you will be able to relax fully. We offer an open-air swimming pool with spectacular views across the jungle and all the way down to the ocean. Served at our hotel restaurant, each morning features a delicious breakfast of eggs cooked to your preference, paired with fresh bread or arepa, and a bowl of seasonal fruits.
