The space Unlike staying on a resort, confined in one and paying extra money to go see other places, exploring Maldives on a boat is the perfect way to see what Maldives has to offer without additional costs. The boat will take you through the central atoll, anchoring at all the favourite tourist spots, from swimming with the nurse sharks to sipping a cocktail on a deserted island. Guest access The whole boat is for the guests, there is three decks with cabins on the lower main deck, A Deck and Bridge Deck. There is a sundeck on the top most floor where gets can enjoy the panoramic views and sunbath. The Saloon Deck has a bar, restaurant and lounge area for reading, playing games and even enjoy some karaoke. Other things to note There is a Domestic Flight charges of $225 per person for all 7 night cruises. Here's what an itinerary looks like: Day 1 On arrival you’ll be taken by dhoni (traditional Maldivian wooden boat) to the liveababoard, where the friendly crew will help you check-in to your cabin. This evening, there will be an informal welcome meeting, where you will be briefed on the week’s itinerary, meet crew members and enjoy a complimentary pre-dinner cocktail. Day 2 Today you will get your first taste of cruising as we cross the Vaadhoo channel into the South Malé Atoll. The ship’s tender will make trips to the beautiful Kalhuhuraa sandbank in the morning and afternoon, ideal for soaking up the sun and cooling off in the lagoon. Day 3 Our short cruise this morning, takes us within the atoll to Hathikolhu Sandbank. Lunch will be provided at the boat. Day 4 Early this morning we cross the channel into the Vaavu Felidu Atoll. The ship’s tender will make trips in the morning and afternoon to the splendid Alimatha sandbank, where we can wade in the warm waters of the turquoise lagoon, snorkel on the reef, or take a barefoot stroll to nowhere. You can also enjoy an early morning snorkelling session on Dhiggiri Thila, home to nurse sharks sting rays, which is one of the favourites among our guests for a small charge. Day 5 After a leisurely cruise this morning, we arrive at Oshagali Finolhu . The reef surrounding the sandbank has lot of healthy hardcorals, snorkelers love this reef. Lunch will be served on the boat and will return to the sand bank in the afternoon. Local island visit to Dhagenthi from 16:30 - 18:00 to wander through experiencing the local lifestyle and it is a good opportunity to do some shopping for souvenirs for the loved ones.There is easy access to the reef for snorkelling. Day 6 We will spend the day relaxing at the long stretch of beach at the western side of Dhigurah island which is isolated from the populated area. Picnic lunch will be provided at the island and you will head back to the boat at 16:00hrs. Return to the island at 1730/1800hrs for sunset cocktails and BBQ Evening. This evening will be a real highlight, with a meticulously prepared barbecue on the beach. Enjoy a wide selection of delicious food including music. Day 7 Your cruise continues to Ariadhoo, an uninhabited agricultural island lush with vegetation. Relax on the soft warm sand, cool off with a dip in the ocean, or snorkel to discover more of the wonderful marine life. This region boasts exceptional sighting records of whale sharks, and the Maldives is one of the few places on earth where whale sharks may be encountered year-round. For a small additional charge payable locally, you may wish to take a boat out with professional guides and go in search of these gentle giants! Day 8 After breakfast, we take a short domestic flight to Male to catch your return international flight
