Description
Take it easy at this beautiful cedar lodge. Uniquely situated in its own completely enclosed private grounds with far reaching views. A place of woodlands and tranquil valleys, twisting streams, quiet country lanes and dark skies shimmering with stars ; yet is only 20 minutes from Abergele and the main coast road to Conwy, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Anglesey. A 30 minute drive would take you to Snowdonia. It is the perfect place for your getaway and your dog is welcome too! The space This comfortable and cosy lodge is in the heart of spectacular rolling countryside. It is approached via its own access route from a country lane and is completely self contained within its own expansive plot which contains a number of apple trees and several lawns which are entirely for your own use. The wrap around balcony provides a place to sit and take in the views all day, but there are additional seating areas and sun loungers for sun and shade lovers. The wildlife is exceptional and in addition to the birds visiting the garden, kites fly overhead and dippers can be spotted in the river immediately below the lodge. Occasionally deer can be seen from the windows. There is a place to store bicycles and paddle boards for the more energetic holiday guest and the dramatic scenery of Llyn Aled, Alwen and Brenig is all within a short drive. The now famous Grade 1 listed Gwrych Castle, of "I'm a celebrity" fame is also within easy reach. A 30 minutes drive will take you to the contrasting experiences of, Snowdonia, Llandudno, Conwy or the beautiful Vale of Clwyd. You may find, however, as many of our guests do, that you do not need to go anywhere else and just read, paint, write or daydream! If logs and kindling are required for the fire pit, just let the owners know. They would happily provide some to to get you started Guest access The lodge is approached via a short gravel track crossing the owners land. The gated access is not suitable for mobile homes or large vans All gates will be left open for you and can be left open throughout your stay but if you have a dog you will be asked to close the gate into your grounds when in residence. A key safe is available for the key on arrival. Guests have exclusive access to the generous plot of land surrounding the lodge but the owners have additional farm land with an amazing picnic spot which has extensive views that they are happy to let you use as long as dogs are kept on leads, and farm gates kept shut. Other things to note The owners are very happy to chat before your holiday to answer any questions and to make sure you have all the information you need
