Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Brand new wonderful little cottage that sleeps 4 with a sauna inside (use of sauna 25EUR) located in the most prestigious beach and yacht neighborhood PIRITA. 15min drive to Old Town. 5m walk to sandy beach. There is a huge terrace with outdoor furniture and a large dining table, as well as an earthstone outdoor fireplace with a BBQ area where you can grill. The cabin is next to the primary house but not attached to it so still wonderful privacy. The space The "Sauna House" has one main room with a 140cm wide sofabed that comfortably sleeps 2 people. You can take the stairs to the mezzanine with a 160cm very comfortable mattress, sleeping an additional 2 people - especially fun for kids. The house has a proper lovely toilet with hummingbird and flowery wallpaper. A full rainshower and sink all-tile shower bathroom. A kitchen with a farmhouse-style large sink, countertop, coffee machine, toaster, mini-fridge and plug-in electric cooktop. Our stay at this truly cozy sauna-cottage in the prestigious beach community of Pirita was truly relaxing and special. It is an exceptional experience because you are still in the city limits of the capital Tallinn of Estonia, yet it feels like you are in the greenery and nature of the countryside. It is a quick 15 minute, 10 euro taxi ride or 20min bus ride to the medieval Old Town and City Centre to do all the sightseeing and museums and night life activities, but you also have the peace and quiet of a country cottage with all amenities - full WC, rainshower, kitchen sink, mini fridge, little stove, coffee machine. The family owning this cabin even provide a fully-stocked mini-bar with various Estonian beers, gin-tonic and cider. You can purchase pre-requested food items for you. You may also request a chargeable traditional Estonian BBQ experience of the host cooking meats and vegetables of your liking on the apple-tree live BBQ. The cottage has one main living space with a 140cm wide sofabed that comfortably sleeps 2. Up the ladder, another 2 people can sleep on a 160cm mattress. Do keep in mind that the ladder is quite steep so must use caution climbing up and down the ladder. When only 2 people staying at the cabin sleeping on the ground floor bed, then the large ladder is lifted out of the cabin to give extra ample space. Of course bedsheets, pillows, blankets, and towels for both sauna and shower are all provided. When stepping out of the cabin, you are on the ginormous open terrace leading to a cozy sitting area where it is wonderful to let off steam and have a cold beer after the sauna. A quaint earth stone BBQ and huge 10-spot dining table are also immediately accessible and usable for example if you want to order food delivery from any of the many restaurants close by. One awesome perk - the Michelin star award-winning restaurant NOA is literally a 5-minute WALK from this cabin! Other famous landmarks close by are Pirita beach (10min walk), Film and History Museum. Truly special is the experience of a real wood-burning sauna (vs. an electric one you get in spas, that can have a biting effect on the skin). Real wood sauna is mild and makes you deeply cleanse which is a truly purifying experience. The sauna has a ginormous floor-to-ceiling window so you can stare out into the lilac, hazelnut, birch and apple trees while experiencing the soul-purifying sauna heat.
