Guesthouse near the beach in Glommen

Welcome to our place in Glommen! Here you can enjoy the beautiful Halland beaches from our cozy guesthouse, just a three-minute walk from the sea. We offer modern accommodation close to the beach and near Varberg, Falkenberg, Åkulla beech forests, and Ullared. Kattegattleden, a popular bike path, passes right around the corner. The price includes toiletries, made beds, towels and cleaning. The space The guest house is best suited for two people, but we can accommodate more on request. There is a 160 cm wide double bed and a 120 cm mattress in the loft. Please note that the ceiling height in the loft is low and the steps up there are steep. The accommodation is equipped with a kitchen with induction stovetop, oven/microwave, small fridge with freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, table fan, toilet and shower. In the cottage's storage room, there is also an ergonomic pillow, extra sheets, towels, blankets and two bathrobes. We have no TV, but of course there is Wi-Fi 😊. On the patio, there is a lounge set, a parasol, and a charcoal grill (charcoal and lighter fluid are in the storage room). In midsummer, we have evening sun until 8 pm on the patio. Sun all day further out on the property, where you are welcome to set up the table for breakfast or the sun loungers that are in the shed. Coffee and tea are provided, as well as basic cooking items: oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and Tabasco. During the season, you are welcome to pick herbs, strawberries, and tomatoes from our small gardens. Guest access You are welcome to use the lawn in front of your patio, between our houses. Everything in the cottage's fridge and storage room is for you. In a basket, you will find various "spare items" such as band-aids, a toothbrush, Ibuprofen, Resorbs, mosquito repellent, and sunscreen in case you forgot something at home, as well as a hair dryer and a straightening iron. Also chargers for the music player. A washing machine, iron and ironing board are available to borrow if needed, as well as a larger fridge and freezer. You can lock the bikes in our storage room (the Frigge shed) If you need to "recharge" the car, you can do that using the outlet on the front of the house, and an extension cord is available in the woodshed or in the garden shed. Other things to note There is no TV (: When the sun is shining, you have a lovely beach around the corner. Pack your things, bring sun loungers and the small grill. These are in the storage room. (the Frigge shed) If you would like anything else, such as beach toys, tables or beach umbrellas, we may be able to arrange it. Beach towels and a cooler bag with plastic cups, plates, cutlery and a thermos are in the cabin's storage room, as well as charcoal and lighter fluid. Feel free to borrow our SUP. Life jackets are also available in the storeroom (the Frigge shed) If it rains, lie down and enjoy your time off, read a book, play Yahtzee, or why not go to Gekås or Fynda. The hosts live on the property, and the guesthouse's patio is separated from the hosts' patio by a dense trellis. We are waiting for the hedge next to the neighbors to grow dense; there are also tenants there during the summer. The outdoor shower is also used by the host couple. The area has a rich birdlife, a dream for birdwatchers, but also crows and gulls that sometimes wake us up early - then we start the day and enjoy it😜 After 10 pm, a quiet outdoor environment applies. Keep in mind that there is no store in the nearby area that is open after 6 pm. So shop on the way here. There are both Willys and Lidl at the entrance to Falkenberg. In summer, there is a great Tempo store in Olofsbo. The nearest community is to the south. Open 8 am - 8 pm
