Description
The barns in the courtyard of a country house. Stay in an atmospheric setting, almost in the lap of nature. We have renovated two attic barn rooms into lovely summer bedrooms. Feel the time stop, the creaking floor under your feet and the over a hundred-year-old log walls. Beds and towels are ready. Toilet and shower in a different building. Step across the yard lawn for a baked porridge breakfast, book in advance 14€/person. By booking in advance, you can also bathe in the yard sauna (25 euros/hour) or in the smoke sauna (25 euros/person). The space A two-story barn with facilities for three adults and 2-3 children to stay overnight. Pets are welcome. Downstairs, there is one 90 cm wide bed and an old-fashioned sofa bed. A double bed and two 170 cm youth beds in the loft. Modern amenities include electric light, sockets, fridge, microwave and kitchenette. Toilet and shower facilities can be found in a different building in the courtyard. Please note that there are narrow stairs leading upstairs, there is a child gate and a railing for children. If necessary, we will bring a crib and a high chair to the room. By booking in advance, you can bathe in a wood-fired yard sauna (25 euros/hour) or a smoke sauna (35 euros/person). Take a walking tour in the courtyard park area or head to the forest trail. Beach on the village shore. In the courtyard, there is also a large lean-to for cooking. Guest access I will welcome guests when they arrive and depart, or we will arrange self check-in. During your stay We live in the same yard, so we can be reached if necessary. Guests have the opportunity to spend time in their own peace and quiet. The household moves during the day in the yard and garden. Other things to note Check out the nearby villages! Everything is close - you can easily take a stroll on the village street in one night, peek into the narrow alleys of the old church village and admire the Niskavuori scenery or try the artisan pizzas of the village shop. The nearby towns of Hämeenlinna, Lahti and Tampere with their attractions are also within an hour's drive Book more than one night and explore the Laitikkala Taste Village, browse Hämeenlinna's numerous flea markets and second-hand shops, and do some shopping in the craft shops.
