Harvest Cottage - wheelchair accessible
Harvest Cottage - wheelchair accessible
Description
Harvest Cottage is wheelchair friendly, sitting in the corner of the courtyard shared with 5 other cottages with a large courtyard and games room, all within our organic farm. Plenty of wildlife to see and dark starry skies. The courtyard at the back looks over the fields where you can see the cows grazing from time to time and many deer and other wildlife inhabit the farm. There are walks from the door for you and your pets and we also have a games room on site with pool and table tennis. The space Harvest Cottage is spacious with a master bedroom with en-suite wet room with shower chair and grab rail and rails each side of toilet. A second bedroom has a shower room en-suite. There is a sofa bed in the sitting room to sleep a couple if required. There are no doors between the sitting room and kitchen, just a wide archway. There is a ramp to the double front doors and a courtyard to the front and rear of the cottage with a gate at the rear onto the grassed area for dogs. There are walks across the fields from here on public footpaths. The gardens are enclosed with a fairly low wall at the front of the cottage but a higher wall to the rear. Guest access Wheelchair accessible cottage with eye level oven. Wide corridors and open kitchen and sitting room. Wet room with shower seat and raised toilet seat if required, with handrails. Parking immediately outside the cottage. Hard areas around the cottage and ramp to access double doors. Other things to note We accept well behaved dogs in our cottages, for which there is a charge. We charge £25 for the first dog in a cottage and £20 for each additional dog in the same cottage. We also have an EV charger on site for which we make a charge of £40. A PIN will be sent to use this. If you require the beds re-configured from their default position we do charge £50 for this to cover the cleaners time to remake them twice and for the extra cleaning. This is a working farm so please be mindful of machinery moving about and do not venture into the farm buildings or on machinery as we can not be held responsible for accidents that happen if you go where you shouldn't be. Please, when passing through gates leave them as you find them.
