The space NEW CONSTRUCTION SUMMER 2024!! OVERVIEW: We call it "The Roof" because you will be staying in a one of a kind property that boasts a private bath tub on the roof that is perfect for unwinding in fresh water after a long hot day at the beach. While lounging in the tub, you can watch the sun set over Destin Harbor. "The Roof" has a large private sun deck big enough for the whole family. TWO UNITS: You and your family will be staying in one of 2 units (Unit B) that comprises "The Roof" property. You'll have a master bedrooms, a full kitchens, a children's game room, a garages, a living rooms and a rooftop deck. GEOGRAPHY: "The Roof" backs up to 10 acres of pristine sand dunes that separate "The Roof" from the East Pass, O'Steen Beach, the Jetty's and Crab Island. Also close by is Noriego Point. All of these places are close proximity to "The Roof" and give you lots of places to explore. EAST PASS: ~5-8 minute walk, the East Pass is Destin's main boating channel where all the boats come in and out of the Destin Harbor. The Roof" looks over the East Pass and you have spectacular views of all the boats as they come and go. NOTE: If you have elderly or infirm members of your party, this walk can be taxing due to the soft sand. O'STEEN BEACH: ~5-8 minute walk, sits right on the East Pass and because it is protected by the Jetty's, the water along the beach is calm, serene, and great for paddle boarding. NOTE: If you have elderly or infirm members of your party, this walk can be taxing due to the soft sand. THE JETTY'S: Just 8-10 minutes from "The Roof" are JETTY's. They are a great place to snorkel because you will see all sorts of ocean life that likes to hang out in those protective rocks. Once you get to the Jetty's you can also sit and relax on Destin Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. CRAB ISLAND: Once a tiny island on the south side of Choctawhatchee Bay, the sandbar known as "Crab Island" is now one of the most popular things to do in Destin. Its fun and games are within easy sight of "The Roof." SWIMMING POOL: Outside on the ground floor you will find a swimming pool and hot tub. Next to the pool are 2 private beach cabanas. The mattress and the pillows for the cabanas are in your garage. Please do not attempt to adjust the valves or touch any of the pool controls. HOT TUB: Simply text the property manager and ask him to turn on the hot tub. The hot tub can only be turned on in this manner. The cost for turning on the hot tub is $100 per stay (less than 1 week). FIRST FLOOR: Inside, you will find a two-car garages with automatic garage door openers, children's playrooms with an Xbox. Additionally, you will find the laundry rooms on the first floor. SECOND FLOOR: On the second floor of each unit you will find the kitchen and living room and dining area. I the living rooms is a large flat screen television. Off of the kitchen is the guest bathroom and bedrooms. In Unit B there is 1 bedroom off of the kitchen with with a queen sized bed and 2 bunk beds. THIRD FLOOR: On the third floor you will find the master bedroom. The Master Bedrooms have private ensuite master bath featuring a walk-in shower, stand-alone bath tub and double vanity. Additionally, on the third floor, there are two additional guest bedrooms (for a total of 3 bedrooms on the top floor). In Unit A, each guest bedroom has a queen sized bed and a shared bathroom with a double vanity. THE ROOF: Take the stairs all the way to the top of the house, go out the door and you will find yourself on top of "The Roof." From here you will find "Insta-worthy" views of the Destin Harbor, The East Pass, O'Steen Beach, the Jetty's and the Gulf of Mexico. On the roof you will find a private bath tub on "The Roof" and a private sun deck. BEACH ACCESS: The beach access is located just 3 houses down. Take the access and walk directly to the beach, the Jetty or the Gulf of Mexico! There is also the O’steen Public Beach access about two blocks down. Guest access All of Unit B is available for your pleasure, including the rooftop sundeck, rooftop bath tub, and the ground floor swimming pool and hot tub (which are shared with unit A). Other things to note Please do not walk on the "WHITE" portion of the roof. Please only walk on the "BROWN" & "GRAY" portion of the roof. If you walk on the "WHITE" portion of the roof it will damage the styrofoam slope of the roof.
