Located on the edge of the majestic Saguenay River, this exceptional chalet will charm you with the calm that reigns there. Enjoy the waterfront and outdoor views, 20 minutes from Alma and 30 minutes from Jonquière. Its large grounds will allow you to have fun with your family, make a fire in the evening and enjoy the hot tub. 5 bedrooms are available, including a quadruple occupancy room, for the pleasure of young and old. Kayaks (4) and outdoor games are available on site. The space WINTER SEASON Although the path is maintained in winter season, please note that it is mandatory to use a four-wheel drive vehicle to ensure easy and safe access, due to the presence of a strong elevation difference to get there. We will not be responsible for any issues regarding non-compliance of this obligation. The living areas are on the ground floor, with a full bathroom (shower bath) where you can also find the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is complete, with a Nespresso type coffee machine, so plan to bring your capsules (vertuo format). A few capsules will be provided. The cottage has 5 bedrooms with queen beds, all upstairs, including one bedroom with two queen bunk beds. There is a full bathroom (shower only) upstairs. Both floors are air-conditioned for your comfort in summer. Outside, a large concrete slab with a view of the river, on which there are 2 picnic tables—enough to accommodate all guests for an outdoor meal—plus the hot tub, will let you enjoy nature to the fullest. In the entrance you will find some games to enjoy the outdoors, pétanque, spikeball and Finnish bowls. A few board games (mostly cards) are also available inside. SNOWMOBILING TRAILS Note that federated trail number 93 passes about 6.5km from the cottage. This trail extends from the border with Ontario to the municipality of Sacré-Coeur, passing through Chapais and along the top of the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean. ANIMALS Pets are allowed for a fee of $50/night. The maximum number of pets allowed is 2. Guest access Being located in the middle of nature, note that the accommodation is about 20 minutes from the nearest city. Access is via a gravel road. Don't worry, the road is passable by any type of vehicle without any problems.
