Minniborgir Summerhouse is located in Grímsnes, by the Golden Circle. The location is great and it is close to many beautiful places such as Geysir, Gullfoss, Kerid, Thingvellir and more. It is also a short distance to the hot springs at Selfoss, which is only 15 minutes away. In the surrounding areas there are also villages such as Laugarvatn (17km), Reykholt (19km), Flúðir (30km). But on-site, i.e. in Minniborgir, there is a restaurant that offers homemade cooking with an emphasis on fresh ingredients from the region.
