Room Layout: Main Level- Open Floor plan includes the Kitchen, Dining Area, Living Area, and Queen Platform Bed. Full Bathroom with walk-in shower stall, Deck Loft- Queen bed, not suitable for young children Dogs Permitted? Dogs are NOT considered at this property.  Located on lovely Spruce Head Island (part of the town of South Thomaston) guests will find this small, cozy, waterfront Maine cottage which is just 100 feet from Seal Harbor, with wonderful western exposure views that include a busy fishing harbor, the open Atlantic Ocean, and numerous protective islands.  Sit on the deck, relax and watch an ever-changing stream of boats, local wildlife and the passing of the day including the large, working dock in front of the house. While this cottage is on an island, it is close enough to the mainland to be conveniently connected by a bridge/causeway, but still far enough away to feel like you are in your own private paradise. Nature is kind enough to provide cool breezes on the island in the summer.  If you want to launch a kayak from the working dock in front of the house, you are able to do so if they aren't working there at the time. Guests must store kayaks and other watercraft by the cottage when not in use. It is a rocky shore so other access to the water isn't available unfortunately with ease. World-famous Atwoods Lobster is not far away - they are one of the largest lobster suppliers in the world. You can head over and get some lobsters fresh off the boat from Atwood`s or others nearby and cook them at the cottage. If cooking lobster isn`t your thing, then the world famous McLoons Lobster Shack is just a mile away. **This is a great add-on to Ocean Watch Cottage for additional sleeping space and privacy.
