Welcome to “El Corazon De Cascada Azul.” Private rainforest retreat just above Dominical featuring a 220’ private waterfall, pool, and sweeping valley views. Spacious jungle home ideal for families and groups, with toucans, monkeys, flowers, and fruit trees surrounding the property. Beaches, restaurants, and a large grocery store are about 15 minutes away. Enjoy valley sunsets, jungle sounds at night, and the peaceful rhythm of life in the rainforest. The space El Corazón de Cascada Azul is a spacious private rainforest home designed for families and groups, combining indoor comfort with immersive outdoor living. The home includes 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with two king master suites and two additional bedrooms with full and twin bunks, comfortably accommodating families, two families traveling together, or small groups. The main living area opens to a large covered rancho and outdoor lounge, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area connect directly to the pool deck and jungle views. Outdoor spaces include a private swimming pool, outdoor bathroom and shower, flowering gardens and fruit trees, and a maintained trail leading to your exclusive 220-foot private waterfall and river park. The property sits high in the rainforest within a private community, offering exceptional privacy, valley views, frequent wildlife sightings, and easy access to beaches, restaurants, and a large grocery store about 15–20 minutes away. Guests have full private access to the home, pool, grounds, and waterfall area. Guest access Guests have full private access to the home, pool, outdoor areas, gardens, and the private waterfall and river park on the property. Guests can park in the garage covering or anywhere in the gravel that’s not blocking the drive. There is one locked storage room inside the home (the first door on the right when you enter) reserved for owner supplies and maintenance. All other areas are fully accessible to guests. Other things to note El Corazón de Cascada Azul is a true mountain rainforest retreat. Guests have private access to a natural 220’ waterfall right out of National Geographic via an on-property trail that is maintained to the river. Access to our private retreat is via a maintained jungle mountain road. A 4x4 vehicle is required per community policy, especially during the rainy season. The road is part of what keeps the property private, peaceful, and immersed in nature. You’ll see and hear little to no traffic because we are nestled near the back of our private community. There is one locked interior storage room (the first door on the right when you enter) reserved for owner supplies and maintenance. All other areas are fully accessible to guests. Water: The home’s water comes from our private mountain spring and waterfall. We provide a filtered under-sink drinking water spigot and a 5-gallon jug water dispenser. Refill jugs can be exchanged or filled at the BM grocery store in Dominical. During the rainy season, natural sediment may occasionally appear in the tap water. This does not affect showers or cleaning. For drinking and cooking, guests should always use the filtered spigot or water dispenser. Power & air conditioning: All bedrooms have AC. Because the local mountain power grid is fragile, we ask that AC units be turned off when rooms are unoccupied or when leaving the home. Brief power outages can occur, especially during storms, and are usually short. The Wi-Fi has a battery backup, and a small battery pack is provided for phones or a fan. As with most rainforest homes, you may encounter insects, wildlife, and the natural sounds of the jungle. Occasional brief power or internet interruptions are possible. In return, you get exceptional privacy, wildlife sightings, cool mountain breezes, and a setting most travelers never experience.
