Sleeps up to 12 if needed. Bunks - must consider that adults might not want to sleep on the top bunks, and there is a weight limit. Adults should use the 4 bottoms beds and children should use the 4 top beds. The 4th bedroom is more like a suite with bunkbed and kitchenette! Entire cabin sleeps up to 12 MAX (with two floor mattresses) 4-10 is more comfortable. New Flush toilet is in, plus bonus separate outhouse toilet on its own septic holding tank which I get pumped out regularly. IT’S OUTSIDE. Bring extra toilet paper. Your group must conserve water. If you fill up the septic holding tank before your check out, you will be charged $130 for an extra septic pump out from the septic company. Short showers and use the outhouse in the day. Do not put menstrual pads or liners or diapers into the toilet, or the holding tank, or the outhouse, or the firepit. Yes unfortunately I need to write this because these are issues I’ve had. If the septic company informs me that they sucked up garbage while pumping out your sewage after your check out, you will be charged. Bbq and propane provided on deck. I recommend foil. I try to keep a roll for my guests in the cupboard just over the stove. Feel free to use it. Electric heat ~ new furnace & ducts! Cozy! New Central Air is installed and running at 21°C. (It’s locked) Well water. Bring drinking water. In the summertime there’s a free drinking water tap at the Patricia beach gate and I provide jugs. There’s also a year-round artesian well at the corner of 304 and 500 which flows all year long, even in winter, where you can refill your water jugs anytime. The cabin is on well water. You can also use my jugs and trade the jug for new $5 distilled water jug at the Village store in Grand Beach. Kitchen contains full fridge stove oven microwave pots pans kettle toaster Keurig coffee machine, regular coffee machine, plates cups cutlery, coffee tea bar! There is a barbeque for the deck. Please don’t place the barbeque against the cabin because the side of my cabin started to catch fire last year. There is a fire pit with a grill if you wish to cook outdoors. Bring matches or lighters. Do not use the kitchen frying pans or pots on the outdoor fire pit. Bring your own pans to cook outdoors on the fire flame. Driveway fits 2 vehicles* I am applying for a driveway expansion. Do not park anything on top of the septic holding tank, which is surrounded with limestone. Patricia beach parking lot is only 800-900 m from the cabin. Buy your annual park pass (gets you into all Manitoba provincial parks for the whole year only $44). The septic company installed the biggest tank that they could fit into the small space to accommodate nighttime toilet needs for my renters. Use the outhouse in daytime as much as possible. There are also showers in Grand beach provincial park if your visiting the beach there during your stay, which you can use with your park pass. Free park entry to all provincial parks this year 2025. The showers are right next to the laundromat and grocery store inside Grand beach provincial park. If water or sewage backs up and does not go down anymore, you must immediately contact me and there will be a $130 charge for the septic service to go out urgently to empty the holding tank. Do not put tampons or pads into the flush toilet. Do not put pads into the outhouse hole. Please do not put garbage into the outhouse hole since a past guest did this and it was very costly for me to have that cleaned out and it plugged the septic pumper truck. If you use the outdoor toilet during the daytime and take reasonably short showers, you should be OK for the length of your vacation. Conserving water is key. I will not be selling firewood this year however you can purchase firewood at waivers gas station Other things to note I have been allowing pets, however please use the vacuum that I have left behind for you since other guests might have allergies to pets ~ There is a dog beach in Grand beach Bring a kennel Do not lock up your pet unsupervised in my Beachhouse please while you go to the beach for the day because I’ve had pets destroy a bunkbed, a rug, wall-mounted clothing hooks, etc. (I don’t even wanna know how that happened.) No smoking indoors No littering You can burn your paper Do not play on or around the septic holding tank and please make sure your children are aware of this rule The septic holding tank is the size of a queen size bed underground, and it would be dangerous for children to play on top of it and definitely do not open the lid Also make sure your children are not playing inside my electrical panel because guests have played in there and turned on my winter water pipe heat trace in the middle of summer Also make sure your children are not playing in the water well head box outside because there are mechanisms in there that should not be touched Sandy‘s snack shack should be open at the end of the road on the shore of Patricia Beach - good burgers and shakes Definitely check out the east beaches and their events : Grand beach , Hillside Beach Albert Beach Victoria Beach, lester Beach There is so much to do to keep everybody busy and out of trouble!
