The space Jungle Cabin on the Water – Compact & Cozy Stay Description: Welcome to the Jungle Cabin, a cozy and practical cabin aboard the BoraBora Boathouse. This cabin is well suited for solo travellers or a duo looking for a comfortable stay on the water, with access to generous shared facilities in a calm, community-oriented setting. Jungle Cabin specifications: • Sleeping arrangement: One bunk bed (sleeps up to 2 guests). • Bathrooms: You share two complete bathrooms (with shower and toilet) with a limited number of other cabins. • Shared spaces: Access to a large shared kitchen and a communal playroom. • Extras: Rooftop terrace and fast Starlink internet. The Jungle Cabin offers a relaxed and functional space, ideal for guests who appreciate waterfront living, shared amenities, and a quiet atmosphere. Guest access Guests have access to both private and shared facilities, depending on the accommodation type booked. Shared facilities All BOCO-living guests have access to a variety of well-maintained shared spaces within our floating community, including: • Two laundry facilities (washing machines and dryers) • A playroom with a ping-pong table (located on the BoraBora boathouse) • Multiple outdoor seating areas on deck, including seating on the bow of several houseboats • A rooftop terrace for relaxing and enjoying the waterfront atmosphere All shared facilities are exclusively for BOCO guests and are cleaned daily by our crew. ⸻ Private accommodations Depending on your listing, your accommodation may include private facilities such as: • A private toilet • Kitchenette or full kitchen • Dining or seating area • Refrigerator Some accommodations share additional facilities (such as showers or laundry) within the BOCO complex, which is always clearly stated in the listing description. ⸻ Location & atmosphere BOCO-living is a peaceful floating community on the water, offering a calm and relaxed atmosphere while still being within walking or cycling distance of Rotterdam’s city centre. Nearby swimming spots and waterfront areas are easily accessible. With multiple houseboats in one floating community, BOCO-living offers a wide range of accommodation types to suit different needs, while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and respectful environment. Fresh linens and towels are provided, and we focus on delivering a comfortable stay at a cost-effective price in a central waterfront location. ⸻ Access to the boats (important) Access to the boats depends on the tide, which changes twice daily. • During high tide, boarding is easiest via the bow (front) of the boat • During low tide, access is typically via the gangway (ramp) If the gangway feels steep at any moment, guests can always use the bow or side entrances instead. There is always a safe and practical way to access the boats, regardless of tide conditions. ⸻ Community note BOCO-living is a shared living environment. Other things to note Additional information Check-in & access Check-in is normally available between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Self check-in outside these hours is possible by request only. There is always someone available to assist you outside regular hours — please inform us in advance so we can arrange this properly. Access to the boats depends on the tide level; there is always a safe way to board via the gangway, bow, or side entrance. Safety BOCO-living is a safe and well-managed floating community. You will be staying on the water; basic awareness when moving around decks and outdoor areas is appreciated. Quiet hours & parties This is a quiet residential environment. • Quiet hours apply • No parties or events are allowed Smoking Smoking is only allowed with prior permission and only in designated outdoor areas. Smoking inside the accommodations is not permitted. Laundry facilities Laundry facilities are available. • €7 per machine per use (washing machine or dryer) • Includes detergent and fabric softener A laundry schedule is in place to ensure availability for all guests. Linen & towels For long-stay guests, fresh linen and towels are provided weekly (every Saturday). Additional linen or towel changes are available upon request. Minor movement of the boat due to water or weather conditions is normal and part of the experience. Location & mobility The city centre of Rotterdam is easily reachable by bike or on foot. Cycling is one of the fastest and most convenient ways to get around the city.
