Rental unit in Montezuma

Mariposa is a beautiful cottage with a garden and dinning table right on the ocean view . It is made with antic windows, doors and wood, what gives it his warm an authentic touch. No tree had to be cut to make it! Also includes an outside art tile bath tub type and a hot shower, unique to this cottage.The forest on the property has been reforested in the last 30 years.If you are looking for something private, don't look further. If booked, we have more villas look please under Montezuma Heights. The space Mariposa : *The Mariposa Cottage was our first little house on the property. The details on it, tells about our way of embracing life, our view of creation. The cabin has a little terrace on the tip of the cliff welcoming the horizon and miles and miles of coastline.The sunrise awakes on the bed. Pelicans,frigate birds,falcons and other bird species indulge the sky day by day. *The materials used on the construction of both cabins are from native antique wood: floors, doors and windows that we have rescued over the years, in order to avoid cutting more trees and for recycling purposes. Some of those pieces are from 1920. There is no obstacle in between you and the endless horizon. Further we are 300ft.(100m) above the ocean ,so you can sleep being lulled by the waves. Enjoy it ! *Please buy groceries before arrival Guest access Every cottage has his own private parking and access. The pool on the property is also accessible for you. Other things to note Please note: When using the pool, please do not use Sun cream and use the shower on the pool before. If not follow this instructions we do not guarantee a clear and clean pool. We do live close to nature. Please note: When leaving open food inside the building, Monkeys, Ants and other animals will see this as in invitation. If possible keep the food inside the fridge. Till now they have not find a way to open it. Take care. Rainy season: In parts of the rainy season bugs can arise. So please close open doors and windows when lights are turned on. Use the screen doors and windows and you will be fine. Mosquitos have not been a problem as much then in other parts of the country. Always remember you are in Costa Rica and in the wild. The bugs and animals have been there before us, respect them. The roads from Montezuma up are steep, we advise people if they rent a car to rent a 4x4 (all Costa Rica) Taxis is a great alternative and will cost less. It is 10U$ one way.
