Rejuvenate in the heart of a typical Gascon medieval village in our independent stone cottage for 2 people. Simple, rustic and comfortable with private pool and pleasure garden. The space At the exit of the charming village of Fourcès, you will find our atypical cottage (or tiny house for the most English speakers of us), renovated as a holiday accommodation for 2 people. A small home of 40m2, arranged and equipped so that you can find the essentials for a few days of rest. You will enjoy, on the ground floor, an indoor living space with radio, dining table, chairs and a kitchenette equipped for cooking. KITCHEN EQUIPMENT: -refrigerator -micro waves -Bar rack -Boiler - Italian coffee maker -Electric baking sheet 3 fires - crockery and kitchenware -Fund of cooking: oil, salt, pepper, vinegar On the mezzanine, there is a library room with a double bed 160cm for 2 people, equipped with a fan for hot summer days and a shutter to obscure the space. The bathroom with shower, sink and toilet is located on the ground floor. A 20m2 sheltered appenti in front of the cottage entrance and facing the pool, allows you to enjoy another dining area, outdoor and shaded, with sink and electric plancha. The private garden of 600m2 overlooking the surrounding countryside, surrounded by hedges but not fenced, is still very well maintained and remains reserved only for your personal enjoyment. A bean-shaped pool of 8m x 4m (depth from 1m to 1.60m) is also at your disposal with sun loungers and umbrella. Open and maintained all year round, swimming is recommended as soon as sunny days are out. In the center of Fourcès, village houses with private pool are a rare product and our cottage, however small, can boast its own for the utmost comfort of our guests! No TV, no wifi (the 4G network is very good). On the other hand, a library provided with historical works, contemporary novels, and classical literature will offer you reading for several months or even years. The cottage is located not far from the village tennis court, just renovated and always open (not lit at night). The village of Fourcès is a very characteristic village, which everyone, locals and tourists alike love to walk. Under the typical arcades of its central square, you will find a bar restaurant, a grocery store, art galleries and artisans, a dealer, a delicatessen with typical products, a shop in Armagnac... Every Tuesday morning from June to September, there is also a small farmers' market and the pizzaiolo comes every Wednesday to feast on its pizzas. Guest access The entire property is reserved for guests Other things to note Linens and towels are provided. Final cleaning is included. However, the cottage must be returned in good general condition, including the sheets of the beds removed, the tidy kitchen and all your fresh ones carried away.
