Welcome to the Shearers Cottage. Awaken your senses as you soak up this modern country cottage in Grattai near Mudgee. Our farm is home to our two ponies, three dogs as well as a range of local wildlife. Just 15 minutes from the heart of Mudgee, as you drive through the gate you will start to unwind. It’s a perfect base for you to explore the Mudgee region, then come back and enjoy the local produce you bought along the way whilst watching the sun setting from the deck. The space The Shearers Cottage is set on 1 acre, fully fenced within a 25-acre property. Ponies Ed and Millie will happily great you from behind their paddock fence on arrival. Ed is a rescue pony, so we are unsure of his age but is great company for Millie, who is 15 years old. The cottage has 3 Bedrooms with queen sized beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven & cooktop. Tea, coffee, milk, butter and an assortment of breakfast cereals and spreads provided. Ceiling fans to all bedrooms along with reverse cycle air conditioning in the living space. Out on the deck there is a gas BBQ and seating for those warm summer evenings as well as a ceiling fan to keep you cool. During the cooler months there is a fire pit to sit around and enjoy the magical night sky. The cottage has two satellite smart TVs, one in the main bedroom and the other in the living room. There is Telstra phone service, however we also provide unlimited WIFI via Starlink. Phone calls can be made by connecting to the WIFI and setting your phone up to access VOIP calls. There is a washing machine and clothesline should the need arise. Take a short 15-minute drive to the historic Gold and Fleece Hotel in Windeyer where you can enjoy lunch or dinner in a good old-fashioned pub. Registration Details PID-STRA-47978
