Description
A historic place at the gate of Burgundy. A small caretaker's house in the Château Passy-Véron. A bucolic and quiet setting 1.5 hours from Paris. The space Find tranquility and reconnect with nature by staying in the old caretaker's house of the Château de Passy, in Burgundy. The house is located 10 km from Sens and only 130 km from Paris. Surrounded by forests (one of which belongs to the castle) and only 2 km from the river (Yonne), it is an ideal starting point for walks or cycling. A bike path that connects Sens and Auxerre runs along the river. You can also participate in the many events in the neighboring villages (flea markets, village festivals, etc.) Accommodation The house consists of a living room, kitchen and toilet on the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, Italian coffee maker, toaster, kettle and airfryer. In the living room you will have a large dining table, a pellet stove and a small sofa (not convertible). Two bedrooms have a double bed each and dressers. Additional shelves and a closet in the hallway will allow you to comfortably store your belongings. The bathroom is equipped with a washer and dryer and a hairdryer. We provide towels, basic toiletries and sheets. The house has a small terrace with a bench and a table from which you will have a beautiful view of the courtyard and the castle. At the house you will find a charcoal barbecue, badminton and a bunch of books. Something to make your stay more pleasant and relaxing :) Guest access The house is independent but is part of a condominium with the castle and the adjoining buildings. You can enjoy the outdoors but note that this is not a private land. You can park in the parking lot in front of the entrance. The entrance and exit are autonomous. The access code will be sent to you on the day of arrival. Check-in is usually from 3 p.m. - if we can, we'll let you in earlier - to be confirmed on the day. Check out by 12:00 p.m. Other remarks If you're coming with your four-legged friends, make sure you keep them close to you. No wifi in the house.
