Visit the charming town of Bridgnorth which straddles the River Severn, home to the oldest and steepest inland funicular railway. As well as the Severn Valley Steam Railway, gardens and castle ruins to explore, you have an abundance of independent shops, museums and eateries. Slightly further afield, vibrant Ludlow (12 miles) is a town steeped in history, architecture, and independent culture, and, famed for its annual food festival, has become a foodies’ haven. Shrewsbury (25 miles), Ironbridge (14 miles) and Telford (19 miles) are also easily accessible from the property and worth a visit. Entering through the rear of the property allows you to shake down the outdoors in a utility and boot room, with hard tiles, sink, cupboard storage and a washing machine. Follow the original Welsh quarry tile as it takes you through the spacious hallway and into the main living space.
