If you are traveling alone, with friends or in small family and want to spend your holidays connecting yourself with the Andean nature, visit our "Casa SiwarJoopi" where you will feel the hospitality of the Peruvian Andes. Come and discover the archaeological sites within and around the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman who is at the doorstep of our guest house and close to the city center. Share our delicious and natural breakfasts and enjoy the treasures of our garden. The chalet of Casa SiwarJoopi is constructed with a base of stones, adobe bricks and beams. We intended to keep the original structure like you find it in typical andean villages, designs coming from colonial epoch but adding modern details which make the rooms cosy. We also continue using typical roof tiles used in cities and villages in the andean region. The interiores are decorated with typical local handycrafts, carpets and blankets from the communities of Chumbivilcas and Chincheros, paintings from local artist Chaska Arcos with motives of the spiritual essence of the Andes. All complemented with special details who give the chalet a rural ambience in Cusco. The chalet has 1 dormitory with two beds (and duvets), kitchen combined with dining room, living room and bath room with hot shower. In the chalet you have Wifi-access. The breakfast is a mini buffet with fresh fruit juice or fruit salad, home made bread, 2 types of jam with local fruits, fresh hot milk, butter, yogurt, honey, muesli and coffee and tea. If you would like to make tours to the Sacred Valley and/or Machu Picchu or other areas of the region of Cusco, we can contact you with recommended tour agencies. Or if you like to travel on your own, we can indicate you how to take local transport and how to move easily to different villages - for a different travel experience! And if you like to share with us conversations about arqueology, environment, local culture and a lot more, let's take a tea or a coffee and sit down a while. :-D To get to our house it is recommendable to take a taxi from known, secure and responsible companies who know our are. We can indicate you some reliable companies. But close our area exists also a bus line which brings you down to the historic center.
