The Cottage
The Cottage
Description
Centrally located with easy access to the freeway. Minutes away from Spring Lake, Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Grand Rapids. Our private horse farm offers the original farmhouse we call "The Cottage". Look out your windows to retired and rescued thoroughbreds racehorses grazing in their pastures. This is a private, clean, property that owners live onsite in the back of the property out of sight offering privacy during your stay. All proceeds go to the care of the horses. The space “The Cottage” is the original 1910 farmhouse with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. It is tastefully decorated, with a cozy feel of being at home. Situated on over 33 acres. The front of the property is home to our rescue horses that we care for personally. Our home is in the back of the property, tucked away out of site. Guest access You are welcome to walk around the farm, enjoy the view of the horses grazing, they may even greet you at the fence. Sit outside on the swing, use the bbq grill provided, or relax at the patio table under the string lights when the sun is setting. We ask that guest stay out of the barn, and the pastures. Other things to note The cottage offers an "Amenities" kitchen, with a Microwave, Keurig, Refrigerator, and air fryer. The kitchen stocked with utensils, plates, glasses, mugs, etc. There is a large kitchen sink in the bathroom making this a "unique" set up. There are two great restaurants down the road if you are seeking a wonderful meal! Although the home stays rather cool in the summer months, and because it is the original farmhouse, we have window unit air conditioners set up during the summer months, and a fan in each room. The bedrooms offer a queen in one room and two twins beds, and a trundle bed in the other. All linens are provided, along with two rolls of toilet paper, and paper towels. Please 🚭 No Smoking 🚭 In The House.
