Suitable for couples/single travellers looking for a peaceful gataway in the middle of nowhere - plenty of walks on your door step (Rhinog mountains, Nantcol waterfalls, Purple Haze Forest), yet near enough to the picturesque village with its riverside pub (The Victoria Inn), a short 3mi drive to Harlech’s award-winning beach, Royal St. David's golfcourse and UNESCO Heritage Castle! The space * couples or single travellers only * open-plan/studio-style period 1890 country cottage renovated to a modern standard * free parking * private secure south-facing garden, barbecue, log-chiminea, outdoor furniture, power-jet hot-tub * underfloor heating * walk-in monsoon shower, heated towel rail * kitchen with microwave, hob, extractor fan, air-frying triple oven, dolce gusto coffee machine, kettle, toaster and basic essentials * towels, linen, toiletries, robes * double bed, medium-firm orthopaedic support mattress * smart TV, wifi * laundry service available on request * clothes cupboard, hanging rail, suitcase rack * well-behaved dogs/cat welcome (max 2 dogs if they are a small breed or 1 medium/large breed due to the space) - **please select a pet when making a booking. * please note there are dogs and cat on the property, horses on the adjacent field and lots of sheep all around! Guest access The cottage stands in the grounds of a larger property but is private and secure with its own separate entrance and fenced garden. Free and secure parking next to the path leading to it, less than a minute walk. Well-behaved dogs welcome (subject to £20 fee, please add pets to your booking) but please note there are other dogs, cat and horses on the property and sheep on the adjoining fields. Stunning walks all around - mountains, waterfalls, lakes and forests to explore. The property is about a mile above the village up in the hills. Other things to note Please note that very sadly we cannot accommodate wheelchairs or guests with mobility issues due to the size and nature of this tiny period cottage with narrow entrance spaces.
