Welcome to Suite Paradise! Located in a quiet country development, you'll be nestled into the heart of Amish country. Enjoy quaint walks through the neighborhood, spectacular views of Lancaster County Amish farmland right out of our back yard (especially during sunset), and even a peek into the happenings of a one-room Amish Schoolhouse bordering our property. Our private suite, in a converted 2-car garage, is the perfect getaway for a country escape! Your stay will include a private bedroom, with attached full bathroom (with shower tub), and a private living room/dining area/kitchenette. The private entrance can be accessed with a pin-pad lock (no keys to lose!). The cozy bedroom is outfitted with a comfortable memory-foam queen bed with closet & desk. The living room includes a comfy love seat and full size air mattress sofa bed (much more comfortable than a spring mattress sofa bed). An entertainment center is available with local channels, Chromecast enabled TV to stream from your devices, HDMI input, and our selection of DVDs. The kitchenette, outfitted with a microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee maker, is where you can grab your complimentary continental breakfast. Coffee & tea are available. Popcorn is also available to make with our air-popper for an added treat, perfect for a movie night! The kitchenette is not outfitted with a stove, oven, or sink. Feel free to use our backyard. Enjoy spectacular, calendar worthy, views of farmland. We love spending time in the yard watching the sunset stretch across the farmland horizon (disclaimer: a corn field bordering our back yard obstructs part of the view from July to November). You are welcome to share our driveway with parking available for up to 2 vehicles. The stay with us includes your own private suite attached to our home but is closed off (with a locked door) from the rest of the house. The driveway is shared with us and you are welcome to use the backyard and any outdoor spaces in our property. Your hosts, Grant & Amy, are friendly and hospitable. While working hours are going to make our time at home sporadic, we are always available for a call. Grant & Amy hope to get to know our guests and would love to give recommendations for sights, restaurants, and activities if you so desire. Our tucked away neighborhood is in a great location to take in the Amish farmland scenery, but is also very central to all the activities Lancaster County has to offer. We are located 3.4 miles from Kitchen Kettle Village & other tourist attractions in the quaint town of Intercourse. We're within 8 miles of outlet shopping and many restaurants in Lancaster. Sight & Sound Theatres and the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in historic Strasburg is only 6 miles away. Need an dining experience like no other? Search no more than Shady Maple Smorgasboard, 11 miles away. Uber is available for transportation. A stroll in the park can be had at Paradise Community Park.
