The space OUR PLACE IS AWESOME The house is designed and equipped with high standard appliances (Samsung, Bose, Brastemp, Eletrolux, Cuisinart, Sony, JBL), comfortable furniture and 100% cotton household linen (all Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger) LOCATION . We are at Costa Smeralda, a well maintained and secure gated community placed in front of a beautiful beach with Blue Flag (international certification of clean environment). This part of Guarajuba is a kind of private paradise in earth. There are lots of sea-turtle nests and no bars, loud music or commercial tents. It is forbidden to have permanent equipments at this piece of paradise. We provide portable beach chairs, umbrellas and towels to our guests to take to the beach. . The house is around 7-minutes drive to bars, restaurants, ATM, supermarkets, pharmacies and beauty shop and 15-20 min drive to Praia do Forte and Sapiranga Reserve (it is well worthy if you like nature, trekking, zip line and kayak adventure). . At the beach, you must walk 10 minutes to the right (towards Scar Reef) or 45 minutes to the left (towards Bar do Carlinhos) to see the formation of natural pools during the low tide. The ocean right in front of our gated community does not have coral reefs. It is open sea. Be careful if you go for a swim and always pick the low tide to play with children. . Guarajuba has 7,5 Km and eight types of beach with different characteristics (Praias do Porto, do Surf, dos Corais, Paraíso, Genipabú, Scar Reef, Caribinho e Alphaville). A Praia do Porto is the harbor and where you find bars, restaurants and commercial tents. HOME SERVICES House cleaning is daily and covered by our ratings (except on Sundays and on Dec 25th and Jan 1st). The housekeeper works from 8am to 3pm or from 9am to 4pm, as you wish. Think about her as a hotel maid. She will maintain the house clean and organized for you to enjoy the beach all day long. She does not cook meals. For home made meals, we highly recommend personal chefs who work as freelancers for R$ 220 to R$ 300/day. This cost must be paid by the guest directly to the professional at the end of the stay. It is worth it! If you have a kind of small party (max 20 people) and need a servant, we can recommend waiters, BBQ man, bartender and sous-chef. PERSONAL SHOPPER Our staff can buy your groceries upon request; they charge a small fee BABIES We provide a crib, a baby bathtub and recommend a nanny upon request WELLNESS We provide massage therapist, manicure, pedicure upon request PETS We are pet friendly! Small (max 22 LB & 17 inches tall) and house trained dogs are welcome upon request (max 2). Puppies will be accepted in exceptional circumstances. In all cases, bring pee mats and please clean up waste. CONVENIENCE . The house offers 3 bikes, 10 beach chairs, 3 umbrellas (2,5 m each), 10 beach towels, 2 yoga mats, 2 sets of weights (5 and 10 kgs), a crib and one extra mattress . The gated community offers beach tennis rackets upon appointment. . Besides the refrigerator and vertical freezer, we have a beer fridge for 82 cans and a wine cellar for 12 bottles (with compressor) . We have water storage emergency tanks with 8 thousand liters and 6 LED emergency portable lights that work for 12 hours before being recharged. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE Our house is insured by Residencial Vitalmed (24h hours health assistance by phone + ambulance with intensive care for emergencies) SAFENESS . Our gated community offers security w/ cameras and 24/7 patrol; access to the house also monitored . We have first aid kit, gas, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors Guest access The whole house, except the storage in the backyard and one part of the suíte 5 closet. Other things to note . The ocean in front of our gated community is clean, warm and safe for bathing or swimming during low tide. We do not recommend swimming during high tide because of strong currents and rough waves. It is high seas. . We do not have pool fence or windows protection; house is not suitable for small children . Gated community is not suitable for heavy and loud adult parties. . The 5th suite is small, has only one twin bed and its entrance is in the back of the house. It is not suitable for couples or small children. • The admin will measure the consumption of water and energy at the beginning of your stay and on your checkout day and bill you accordingly if consumption exceeds R$40/day. Rates: energy = R$1,2 kwats (one real and 20 cents per kw) and water = R$25,00 /m3 (twenty five reais per cubic meter).
