Floating tiny house glamping

This floating bed is a truely memorable place on the water. Here you can enjoy a comfortable matrass in a remote spot by the water. Enjoy your stay at our private mooring with views over the river. You can reach our farm, shop, café and pizzeria by canoe.There you have access to our campsite's shower and facilities. You can order breakfast in our café or bring your own campsite picknick. A camping stay without running water, electricity or a toilet, away from civilization.Canoe included. The space This very simple floating home has a double matrass, duvets and pillows. There are chairs and a table for you as well as a gas cooker, a BBQ, a water kettle and some basic camping tableware. For your stay you can choose our basic camping package (as bookable here) and bring your own bedding and towels. Or you can book an all-inclusive set-up in advance for an extra price of 300,- kr. If you let us know at least one day in advance we will have your bed ready and towels & soap waiting for you. As your emergency-toilet in the woods we provide you with a spade, toilet paper and hand desinfection. For a real toilet and a shower you will have to paddle down to our basecamp at Prästgården Annerstad. Please make sure to bring everything you need for your stay, like snacks and drinks. The canoe trip back to all amenities takes ca. 60 minutes, so it's great to be well prepared and have everything with you. There can be moscitos in summer, so please bring your favourite repellent. Should you wish to have dinner in our restaurant it's best to let us know in advance as we are normally fully booked. You can also order a picknick take- away which you can enjoy out on your floating home. It’s best to bring a water tank and torch with you. Guest access Please note that you can only reach this floating home by canoe. You will bring all your belongings with you and will find your spot with he coordinates we give you. When you arrive at Prästgården Annerstad we will show you to your canoe and provide you with your coordinates to find your spot. Your car can stay on our parking site in Annerstad. Other things to note Here a few answers to some questions we often get asked : Your trip starts in Annerstad at our shop & café Prästgården Annerstad. Here, a canoe is waiting for you down by the river. Just choose one of the canoes and load your baggage ! We will then let you know the exact location of your shelter. Please remember that there is no water, electricity or toilet at your shelter. You can use the toilet & shower-room below our shop. As an emergency toilet in the forest we have provided you with a spade. Please make sure not to throw any paper or or other rubbish into nature. Also, please note that this place is more like a camping shelter, not a hotel room. If you wish to rent bedlinen and towels from us, please just let us know. The price is kr 300,- for 2 people. You can pay this in our café when you arrive. You can stay and order food in our restaurant before you paddle away, or you can bring it with you as a take-away. We have a picknick meat/cheese platter that can be eaten cold. Otherwise we suggest to bring simple food that you can prepare in a campfire,such as potatoes and aluminium foil. A lot of people even bring a simple picknick that doesn’t have to be cooked anymore. Should you wish to cook food, there’s a small gas cooker and a simple pot in your shelter. You can find wood for your campfire in the forest or ask us for bigger pieces that you can pick up from our barn. Breakfast can be ordered in our café (during july & august) or as a take-away. Remember that it takes ca. 1 hour to get from your floating home to our café. If you bring your own breakfast, please remember to bring cooling elements to keep it cold. You can exchange the cooling pads to cold ones in our shop, should you stay for several days. If you don’t have your own water tank with you we can borrow you some of our’s. The floating home is connected to land unless your booking is for a week as it takes some time to manoover to different places. You can leave extra luggage in our restaurant overnight while you take the canoe to your location. Pls. don’t hesitate to ask, should you have any further questions. In case of very bad wheather you can reach your shelter by a private road, but it is really off-road and not recommended as a road for cars. For checking out : please take all your rubbish with you and do the dishes in case you have used any of our equipment. If you have rented our bed linen and towels you can leave them outside of the shelter underneath the roof. Please don’t hesitate to contact us, should you have any questions.
