Stargazing woodland yurt

Nestled away in a secluded Warwickshire woodland, we offer a tranquil glamping experience at The Roundhouse. Part of a collection of 4 woodland glamping units, all VERY generously spaced apart in their own sections of the woodlands. The Roundhouse is our most impressive woodland buildings, inspired by a yurt construction but much taller, boasting 29 sq meters with a stargazing dome on top, plus its own separate exclusive use shower and compost toilet huts. The space Open plan featuring comfy king size bed, kitchenette including gas hob, breakfast / dining area, rocking chair and impressive wood burning fire. Outside you'll find a combined hanging tripod BBQ & fire pit, two chairs & a small table. We even have low voltage USB electric for charging phones! See more detailed facilities below. Your exclusive use shower / washing up hut and separate compost toilet area is 12 metres away from The Roundhouse. The toilet is a compost toilet, looks and works in a similar way to a normal toilet, except you sprinkle sawdust down it. We provide 1 hand towel & 1 bath towel per booked guest and eco shampoo, conditioner & shower gel are provided in the shower room. Cabin is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults & an infant that can sleep in a travel cot. PLEASE NOTE: The parking is currently 200 metres away from this unit. We do provide a trailer to move all your luggage in one go tho. Guest access Guests have access to a fabulous woodland area to explore, including small play area, it's rustic & retro with rope swing, climbing netting and swing ball. We also provide activity sheets for children to do around the woodlands. We've also mapped out a beautiful walk to 2 village pubs in Barford village (an hour long walk) or just down to the Avon river for a picnic (20-30 minutes). Other things to note FIREWOOD - We provide enough firewood for one indoor and one outdoor fire to get you started but if you require more firewood it's £15 per 36L bucket (they are a large bucket). WOODBURNER FIREGUARD - We have a fireguard available however it is only provided if requested prior to your stay. It takes up a bit of room but if you have young children we would recommend it. TRAVEL COT - This comes with a good quality mattress and sheet only. Please bring your infants own familar bedding if requested. DOGS - We allow a maximum of two dogs. We provide one water & one feeding bowl and a few doggie treats. Please make sure you've selected the 'Pet' button, as dogs are additional. WIFI - There is NO wifi available on site but most mobile networks get good 4G reception. USB ELECTRIC - There is only solar powered electric lights and a usb charging plug for charging phones.
