Beautiful 23 m2 room, with its private bathroom, on the ground floor in an old 8-hectare Dromoise farmhouse. The house is in the small Lauzen valley in Aouste-sur-Sye. It is isolated in a small valley, surrounded by wooded hills and gives access to hiking trails, which lead to the Saoû forest. The room is accessible through a large entrance room, where homemade breakfasts will be served. The space The bedroom on the ground floor has a private bathroom with walk-in shower, it is bright with a good bed, USB-C sockets, a wardrobe. It is equipped with reversible air conditioning, powered by our solar panels and Wi-Fi. In addition to your accommodation you will have access to the garden (several independent and cozy spaces), independent parking and the pool from mid-May to the end of September. Tables are available and allow you to dine outside in peace. We provide you with basic cooking ingredients (olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, herbal teas...) (Another room is available for booking.) Exteriors: The garden is landscaped with a large terrace under a trellis and a terrace under an old awning next to the bread oven. The garden is surrounded by meadows where two retired horses graze. Guest access: The house is located 25 minutes from the A7. We are 2 km from Aouste-sur-Sye with its small shops and the Drôme River. There is ample private parking under the house, accessible by a communal road, which starts from the departmental road. There are good restaurants in the surrounding towns, farmers' markets, a hypermarket 3 km away. Gail has produced and sold Irish specialties on local markets and will be able to tell you about local specialties. While you’re in town We are available to show you the different walking or sightseeing tours in the area. As young retirees, we finally have time to cover a large part of the itineraries and can help you choose your tours. The Drome Valley is a preserved valley, with beautiful villages, beautiful varied hikes. The landscapes range from the banks of the Drôme River to the wooded hills of Diois and Vercors. Aouste-sur-Sye is the beginning of the Clairette de Die appellation area.
