One day, by chance, we arrived in El Cuyo – and even the entrance took our breath away: over a pink lagoon with flamingos, into the village, past an ancient Maya pyramid topped with a lighthouse. The streets are soft sand, coconut palms everywhere, and the fine white beach stretches for miles – completely untouched by tourists. We were instantly enchanted and fell in love with this “raw diamond.” With a lot of passion, we lovingly renovated it. The first-floor penthouse with one bedroom plus living/sleeping room accommodates 1 to 5 guests. Enjoy a 30 m² private beachfront terrace with turquoise sea views – perfect for sunrise coffee, beachfront meals, or romantic evenings. Free parking is available on the property. House Rules Make sure to have travel, health, and accident insurance. Report any damages immediately; we will take care of them. No parties or loud music – we want a relaxed atmosphere for all guests. Dispose of trash and food to avoid pests. No open flames or burning candles. No additional overnight guests allowed. We are not responsible for theft or damage to cars or personal belongings during your stay. Do not use the toilet as a trash bin; remove sand before entering to avoid clogs. Handle inventory carefully; damages will be deducted from the deposit. Cleaning included: bed linen every 7 days, towels every 4 days. This is your second home – a bottle of water, soap, toilet paper, sponge, and cleaning supplies are provided. If anything runs out, please purchase your own. Pets: not allowed at Hacienda del Cuyo (beach house); allowed at Hacienda Antigua (cleaning fee 300 Pesos). Before departure: place used towels on the floor, do not leave dirty dishes.
