Backyard Casita

A digital nomad's paradise with Wi-Fi 6 and 2.5Gig wired internet. Walking distance to BART, Raimondi Park (Home of the B's!), farmers market, climbing gym, breweries, restaurants, and coffee shops. Less than 20 min by transit to Oakland and San Francisco downtowns, let this be the jumping off point for your Bay Area adventures! The space The Casita is similar to a hotel room. It consists of one bedroom with a Full/Double size bed, nightstand, dresser, and two wardrobes as well as one bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. Floors are painted concrete with a large area rug and bath mats taking up most floor space. The large sliding glass doors that make up the front and back walls of the Casita have white sliding panel curtains for privacy. The Casita has a small private back patio with a bistro table and two chairs. The shared garden between the Casita and the main house has an outdoor dining table with four chairs, a 6 burner gas BBQ, and a wood burning fire pit. There is ample free street parking in the neighborhood. Guest access Guests have private use of the Casita and it's back patio space. The garden space between the main house and the Casita is shared. Guests may make use of the patio furniture, gas grill, and fire pit with provided supplies. Other things to note Visitors to the Bay Area should be aware that, as a rule, nothing should be left in an unattended vehicle, regardless of the item's value or visibility or when or where in the Bay Area you park. Like most private homes in the Bay Area, the Casita only has heating and a large fan. Air conditioning is not available. The front and back walls of the Casita are large sliding glass doors that can be fully opened. There is no mini-fridge or beverage appliances in the Casita. The shower has a clear glass door that faces into the bedroom space. A Full/Double bed is slightly smaller than the Queen beds common in US hotels. The curtains in the Casita are opaque (you cannot see through them) for privacy but are also translucent (light can pass through them). They do not blackout the room. Our neighborhood, Prescott, is highly socioeconomically diverse. This can be jarring to some.
