The space Our off-grid FLO Pod is a modern twist on an authentic Goahti, a traditional sami hut, made out of turf, timber or fabric. In our area in Lofoten there used to be plenty of these turf homes, but unfortunately their heritage disappeared together with their habitants. In our Goahti, we have made a comfortable hideaway so close to nature you will feel how you are a part of it. Either by feeling it's force in a heavy winter storm, or listening to the quiet starlit night almost being able to hear the stars twinkle, visible from your bed. If you are lucky you might even see Aurora dance across the sky before bedtime. It is simple - simply amazing. Guest access The Goahti is situated on a secluded spot on our estate. Our other listing Gammelstua Seaview Lodge, as well as our own house where we live all year through, is located in the area - but far apart so you get the luxury of feeling like you have the whole area to yourself The Goahti guests has access to the area for recreation, a campfire site and the shoreline by the Goahti. There is a composting toilet and no running water on the site. However it is possible to get water from the main house and possibly to book a private shower room with a regular toilet at additional cost. There is electricity in the Goahti as well as a 5G network for your phone/pads, but there is also a special hotel for disconnection devices and anti-social media as we call it. A security box for you to leave devices who disturb you from being present. You may call it a digital detox and it's highly recommendable.
