New Optional sauna available at extra cost £40 A romantic break, celebration or unique base to explore the area Enjoy the local countryside, walk from the farm to join many local footpaths & bridleways, maps provided WiFi The space The Shepherd’s Hut at Napton Fields Holiday Cottages is a compact, but beautifully furnished open plan Shepherd's Hut, lovingly hand built to a high specification from the chassis up by myself and my family. Privately situated overlooking fabulous countryside and our sheep. With exposed timber beams and spars, every detail has been considered and mostly hand made to ensure a unique, pleasant and memorable stay. Thoughtfully furnished, with priority being the comfortable hand made oak king size bed, with plentiful storage baskets underneath. Fully fitted open plan kitchen with dining table and tub chairs. Underfloor heating throughout and instant hot water provided by LPG water heater. Fully insulated. Separate shower room within the hut, with walk in shower and feature river stone carved sink. Flushable toilet. Luxury 100 Acres toiletries provided. Outside the hut is an oak decking with bistro table and chairs. Privately situated in its own fenced off area, fabulous views overlooking open countryside and Napton on the Hill, with a patio area, pizza oven and wood fired hot tub. Optional sauna at extra cost, please mention when booking if you require it. Gas BBQ available on request. The gated private orchard is for your use on the sun loungers or to play the garden games provided. A great base for exploring nearby Southam, Gaydon, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford Upon Avon, NAC Stoneleigh, Silverstone and the Cotswolds. We are minutes away from The Grand Union Canal - Napton Loop and numerous marinas. Also perfect for Warwick House wedding venue in Southam, or just visiting family and friends. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speaker and Radio, Smart TV. Napton Fields Holiday Cottages have 3 other self catering cottages available to guests The Cart Barn, The Stable and The Granary. Guest access Guests have their own private fenced off patio and garden surrounding the hut. The private orchard will be available in the summer months for sunbathing, playing badminton, BBQ, eating on the picnic bench etc. We have a farm walk from the hut and maps to show you 6 circular walking routes around the local footpaths and bridleways, just take a stroll for half an hour or walk a few hours, then back to relax in the hot tub and / or sauna. Other things to note Sorry no pets in The Shepherd's Hut, for the safety of our own dogs and sheep. We are a working farm, so please respect our yard and shut any gates behind you if walking. Please let us know an approximate time of arrival and if you would like us to heat the wood fired hot tub up for you as this can take a couple of hours to get up to temperature. Remember your sliders, flip flops or crocs to walk from hot tub and/ sauna to the hut. The sauna is an additional extra, £40 per duration of your stay, payable on booking direct to the host, please let us know if you wish to use this. Bring sauce and toppings if you wish to try out the pizza oven, 1 roll of pizza dough is supplied.
