Only 2 minutes walk from Lewes Train Station and 5 minutes walk from the town centre. The flat is the lower ground floor of our house and has its own separate entrance. The space A large open plan flat. The living and sleeping areas are joined to create a large open space. There is a small sunny spot with a couple of chairs at the front of the flat. We are in the town and our garden backs onto the railway station and so there is a little train and station noise. There is a 5mph speed limit so any noise is minimal and almost all guests have not had any problems. However if you are a very light sleeper this is something to be aware of. Guest access Safe box with key code Other things to note We live upstairs and so we are on hand to assist you if you have any questions. We are a family with adult kids, we are not a noisy family but during the day you may hear us a little. We can't hear you at all upstairs, so do not worry about making noise. We are in the town and the back of the property backs onto the station, and so there is a little train and station noise. If you are a very light sleeper something to be aware of. The trains go through the station slowly at night at 5 mph. There is a basic tv that has access to the standard TV channels, and Netflix and BBC iplayer, prime video if you have accounts for these. By Train: • Gatwick Airport: Approximately 32 minutes • Heathrow Airport: Around 1 hour 56 minutes, including transfers • London Victoria: About 1 hour 8 minutes • Brighton: As quick as 14 minutes By Car: • Gatwick Airport: Approximately 36 minutes (24 miles) • Heathrow Airport: Around 1 hour 10 minutes (59 miles) • London: About 1 hour 21 minutes (51 miles) • Brighton: Roughly 20 minutes (8 miles)
